Williams is coordinating the Saints' defense in the playoffs, but his contract is up after the season and he is a longtime pal of Fisher. Williams would keep St. Louis' 4-3 alignment in place. He's known for heavy blitzing. It's fair to wonder if Eagles DL coach Jim Washburn might join Williams and Fisher in St. Louis. Washburn's "Wide-9" scheme may not mesh well in Philadelphia if the Eagles hire Steve Spagnuolo as defensive coordinator." I could definitely see Otto leaving for the Rams because he could possibly start there. Wow!! Can great news about Fish really hit the wires fast. Now, everybody and his mama is chomping at the bit to join a 145 game losing team over the last five years. Greg Williams, Jim Washburn, Finnegan, Jones, Griffin..........I guess the next thing that's going to get leaked is God is jumping off the Tebow bandwagon, getting him some sunglasses and headed for Saint Loo. Notice anything missing from those players discussed as being willing to follow Fisher....talent. Hell, I bet he is already working with the Rams WR core to improve their blocking, and ensuring proper placement of the football on handoffs with Bradford. As for the Rooney Rule, I never got an answer to my question by those who support it: Do minority coaches need more practice interviewing than their non-minority counterparts? He's nothing special for about 3-4 years then excels after power is taken from him and he has to play who others drafted. His record actually improves and eventually he uses the costanza method of success and acts in the complete opposite of his gut reaction while stumbling his way to a 13-3 season only to get embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs. This will last until it happens at least one more time then the city realizes Fish cares more about gettin' laid than actually winning their team anything. If Fisher steals Finny and Jason Jones to a defense that already has some talent, especially pass rushing talent they'll be much better. Otto could probably be had fairly cheap and start at OT for the Rams. Look out NFC West BTW, if the Titans allow Finnegan to leave to the Rams they are the biggest idiots in the league. Chances are they allow it to happen. Chances are even higher that Michael Griffin ends up there. I could see Rams turning it around fast with players returning from surgeries aswell. Fisher will do ok by the low standards being set for him, 8-8. But 8-8 will not win that division anymore. As for his stealing all the Titans players and former coaches, he couldn't win with them when he had them here. The only ones he could win with are not on the list, VY and AH. So, all the predictions before were he would be the most sought after coach of all time with teams doing anything to hire him. Well, he went to one of the worst, if not the worse team in the NFL that also plays in the weakest division in the NFL. So have fun predicting mediocrity will become greatness.
