Jamal, I think someone mentioned that Amano's contract may prevent the Titans from doing anything with him other than keeping him on the roster, but there's always trading him. There's also just outright cutting him and swallowing the cap hit.They could draft Konz or draft DeCastro, move Harris to center, and sign Nicks/Grubbs.

Well if CJ is actually tripping over Amano in the backfield at the hand off as often as Jamal claims they'll obviously have to make a move regardless of the salary.

Yes, they did fail. Complete and utter failure. They also ignored (or undervalued) the importance of having playable depth at the position which is shocking considering this team's history of WR injury.

I tell you...even though we have to defend our positions sometimes the days after and the fact that some dumb mistakes are there in audio form forever, I really enjoy these discussions afterwards.

Yes, the only conclusion to be drawn from that statement is that I was unaware a Jeff Fisher coached team made the SB once. There is no way I was insinuating that only once in a billion years and a lifetime ago is a strong argument that he doesn't have what it takes.

Hell, I said I'm not convinced it happens because you can't replace everything in a single year... but its funny how the conversation about the run game has completely shifted to fixing the interior of the OL. A sizable portion of the board has stated that Amano is a weak, weak link on our team (just check out Oman's thread about the OL that's up right now) and if we are making wishes... Amano being replaced has to be high up there, regardless of likelihood.
