He led the 49ers to scoring 15 points on the Bears.

I mean I get liking him as a prospect but what about his performance today warrants that type of statement?

Did you not see what Savage just did??? Wait till JG gets more familiar with the offense and personal.

Yup, led his team to all of 13 points, at most would have been 19 points if his kicker didn't suck, but none the less still couldn't get anything done after crossing in to our territory for the most part.

SF also does not possess a DeAndre Hopkins who through ridiculous catches accounted for like 65 of Savage's yards.

Yeah but JG was Brady's backup on a BB led team, he has to be good. Duh

Which would have won them the game most likely had they made those field goals. Again If Garo has a game anything similar to what Savage had we probably will lose because it’s obvious  their kicker can make field goals.

Mariota has the most game winning drives in the NFL this season and we're 8-0 in our last 8 games decided by 4 or less points(would have moved to 9-0 today if not for Henry padding the score) I like our chances with him getting us points at the end.

We've got issues to fix but the constant "this guy or this team is just gonna beat us if we keep playing like this" is getting so old to read. We've won 6 of our last 7 games, we're gonna be ok. Could we drop one? Sure, but it's certainly not some guaranteed doom and gloom situation like so many people seem to think on here.

The only teams to worry about are Jax and the Rams. Could the other two beat us? Sure. But the likelihood isn't so much that we should actually worry. I think we can beat the Jags but the Rams might be too much for us to handle. They're not gonna sit around and wait for us to get our shit together in the second half. By the time we wake up, it might be 21-3 them.

I watched a bit of his game and he already looks way better than Savage ever will be.  I agree he doesn't have a Hopkins but they do have a burner in Marquis Godwin who hasn't had anyone with an arm to get it to him and is just starting to pick up more time.  He's the type of reciever that gives us fits.  This game smells like a Titan trap to me.

Totally agree about the Rams.  They also don't let up at all when they get a lead.  They will actually throw in the redzone with a lead late in games.   Aggressive play calling.  They try to win by as many as they can
