Has there ever been a more valuable player to a team than Aaron Rodgers is to GB?

Belichick has a losing record when Brady isn't his QB, the team with Cassel was possibly the greatest roster ever built and still had no playoff success

Are you talking CLE and pre-Brady?

Brisset was 1-1 starting (+ won one where he took over for Garap, but that's included below.)

Garrapolo was 2-0.

Cassel was 11-5 with NE that one year (really 10-5, but he played 3+ Qs of 1st game when Brady went down)

How many other backup starts have happened for Brady?  Might have missed something.  But that's 14-6.  70%

Oman beat me there but Rodgers has absolutely shown the same.

Difference is you throw Manning behind bad pass blocking and some let's say less precise/schemed receivers and he's probably throwing it away or going down.

I think Manning has the edge in terms of that willingness to max out his control freak nature, pushing everyone else to the point of being a jerk, relentless study and practice.  That's where he probably sits on top.

but if you throw Manning behind bad pass blocking or give him lesser wrs I think in time he will elevate their play but it's never gonna be perceived the same way as doing what Rodgers does on the field when he makes those off script incredible plays

from a fans perspective it's much easier to say that Rodgers is more important to his team and I actually lean that way also but it's harder to see the things that Manning did cause a lot of it was more behind the scenes.

And maybe Rodgers could have played the game strictly from the pocket and better than Manning ever did but he doesn't play that way.

I watched the win over the Cards(Garap), they missed a easy game winner....I already said the team Cassell took over was absolutely loaded.

If you think the Pats are having success long term without Brady you'd be crazy. Look at his numbers this season and the rest of the team's stats

Manning is one of the greatest QBs of all time and close to Rodgers in terms to value. He did take 4 different McCarthy type HCs to the SB
