So Pat Robertson represents the Christian right?  Give me a break.

Well ... I guess anyone from the Christian Right he voted for and condones the behavior is "part of the Christian right ..." lol ... seems like semantics.

It's funny that firing this guy is seen as a huge blunder to Trump fans.

Like, how fucking stupid do you have to be to see this guy as crucial to anything?

Just when I think Trump fans can't get any dumber...

As funny as the whole thing was, he was hired as a distraction and it worked. No one talked about Browder and Priebus quit.

When people mention the Christian right, they're picturing Pat Robertson, the late Jerry Falwell, and the "Christians" who think like them. So yes, he kinda does.

Pat Robertson is one guy with his own views.  Not like we are discussing theology or something where evangelicals might have some common ground.  Libs are more in lock step on their issues than Christians.  Christians including the "far right" have a wide variety of variations in how they feel when it comes to politics.

Here is the perfect example.  Trump vs Hillary.  Libs in lock step she is the best candidate, one of the most qualified individuals in the history of elections (those were words form their messiah).  Well, she sucked.  She is an idiot, has questinable health and isn't even smart enough to be trusted with confidential information.

Now with Trump there certainly was not a lock step with the "right" or "christians" at all.  While many might have voted for the lesser of two evils many thought Trump was very questionable.

This idea that the Christian right was tepid in their support for trump is face- saving bullshit and I've already proved it in another thread. Trump got more of the evangelical than anyone has since 2004. When it comes to politics they're as lock-step and it gets. They have no greater principles and they haven't earned the benefit of the doubt from anyone.

And even with all that, dumbass, crooked Hillary never would have hired a ScarraDouchebag and given him free reign to self-immolate his position and drag down the WH in a week.

Do you think some of that was due to the immediate impact on the Supreme Court justices?

Won't deny people didn't like her on the left.  What I didn't see was anyone with a spine actually say anything but the pro Hillary talking points and guess what?  It is still going on.  People still defend her.

This is the second misrepresentation -- no they don't.  You keep bringing her up, continuously, every opportunity you have it's: Hillary, Barack, Libtards think blah blah.  You've been called on your whataboutism numerous times, but you insist on this tactic with the same "yeah, all politicians suck" result.

That and votes against Hillary.  Not neccesarily support for Trump.

Bullshit. This is just an attempt to save face. At some point you'll have to realize just how bad Trump is and has always been and the "but Hillary" excuse just won't fly.

This dude spewed forth bullshit and the Christian right lapped it up.

How hard is this to understand?  Are you bitter against Christians that were more afraid of Hillary than Trump?  Of course they voted against Hillary.  She was one of the most disliked and polarizing candidates we have ever had run for the presidency.  My God man get your head out of your ass.  You have no clue.

Go down the list if issues and check off the ones people on the right in general were concerned about.  Guns?  Supreme Court?  Gay Marriage (which Hillary is against but for politcal reason is for)?  Abortion?  Immigration?  Islamic Terrorism (Hillary was horrid as Secretary of State).

As for character neither candidate was appealing.  But Christians and those on the right, after 8 years of Obama, were determined to not let this election get away like they did for Romney (who was a much better candidate than Trump by far).  Romney's biggest mistake IMO was that he should have waited to run this time around.  Much easier winning against Hillary than a standing president.  But 8 years of liberalism was enough.

So people held thier nose and voted for the least of two evils.  Give Trump credit also.  He pandered those on the right and Christians by supporting what they stood for.  Call him dumb but he took the ball and ran with it.

Bottom line.  Once Trump won the nomination there wasn't any other choice.  That or lose the election and allow Hillary to be president.

I just can't understand why Christians are not scared to death of Trump. Even being scared of Hillary, they had other choices. Evan McMullin. They voted for Romney, why not him.

Translation: I'll vote for any and all Republicans (and fake ones) before voting for a Democrat.

Trump lied to you and spewed forth bullshit to make you think he was a republican to get your vote and you believed him b/c "Hillary!".

Look, we all were given two shits to vote for and we have differences which smell is worse.

Trump won his nomination because nobody stepped up to take it on the Republican side except Trump.

Hillary won hers because the DNC was going to do whatever it took to get her in.

We all lose.

i dont think anyone was defending her.

i think youre on the other side so you just see what you want because you know realize your shit was the stinkiest one.

theres zero way hillary fucks up this bad.

doesnt mean she isnt also a piece of crap and a terrible corrupt person.

but she wasnt in bed with russia to sell out our country, our planet, our lower and middle classes, our health, and our internet freedoms.

What is going on now is one thing and what people were thinking after Trump won the nomination is another.

Reality.  Trump won.  If in some retarded world you live ni you think the average Christian family is enamored with Trump you are a blue ribbon idiot.  I know it is hard for liberal leaning people to think but damn, this is ridiculous.  I bet a bunch of feminists, gays and what not voted for Hillary didn't they?  Same thing.  They voted against the "Republican" and against Trump more than they voted for Hillary.

my family and friends actually believe he goes to church and is a christian man.
