Trump got more of the evangelical than anyone has since 2004. When it comes to politics they're as lock-step and it gets. Romney's biggest mistake IMO was that he should have waited to run this time around. Much easier winning against Hillary than a standing president. But 8 years of liberalism was enough. So people held thier nose and voted for the least of two evils. Give Trump credit also. He pandered those on the right and Christians by supporting what they stood for. Call him dumb but he took the ball and ran with it. Bottom line. Once Trump won the nomination there wasn't any other choice. That or lose the election and allow Hillary to be president. I just can't understand why Christians are not scared to death of Trump. Even being scared of Hillary, they had other choices. Evan McMullin. They voted for Romney, why not him. Hillary won hers because the DNC was going to do whatever it took to get her in.
