Worst 16 games over a career and it's a blowout by Collins. Worst 16 games over their first 2,3,or 4 seasons and it's still a blowout. Collins makes VY look like Joe Montana.

Lol... Collins did too quit dumbass. He also was an alcoholic and a cancer in the locker room for the better part of a decade.

VY gave his equipment to fans, never threw it at them.

Collins is a documented racist as well.

Collins probably missed a plane but we don't know. We do know he yelled at his coaches.

Collins def contemplated suicide. Pretty sure there's articles out there about it.. Probably a really shitty country song too

VYs best games of his career is close toncollins best games of his career.... And he has 15 years less experience.

Pretty sure the question is "as a Titan who do you want?" I take last two years VY over Collins and it's not even a thought.

Keep trying.

The whole point of the thread was to focus on the quarterbacks t I me IN TENNESSEE.

Jesus Christopher this many pages in and you've posted countless times in the thread and I keep trying to remind you and you still want to talk about Collins years with other teams.

Let him so long as we can talk about VY with other teams! VY didn't make the 53 man roster 3 different times!!!!

Oh please. McCorty did play in the first game and the other guys outside of Finnegan had no impact on any game.

Student, while VY played well in '09 & was a significant part of the turnaround it's inaccurate to say Jason Jones had no impact. Quite to the contrary he was excellent in '09 when healthy & played at a pro bowl level. He was one of the best interior rushers in football that year, which admittedly sounds nuts now. His 1st game back was the Niner game, VY's 2nd game back, and he was dominant, routinely blowing up the Niner interior on pass plays. He was so quick thru gaps.

VY & JJ really made a huge difference that year.

The first half on 2010 football outsiders named him the defensive mvp at the half way point

Face, I can respect all that but he only played in seven games that year and was not a starter that year. But he played well for a role player.

Yup. Then the 2nd half of the year he just didn't look the same & 2011 was a down year. I guess all the nagging injuries added up.

Remember back when the same group were arguing VY was better than guys like Cutler and Schaub

It will eventually be who is better, between VY, Mett or Rusty for VY to actually win

In '05 we beat Houston at the end of the year, 13-10. I believe had we lost that game we'd have had the 1st pick in the '06 draft. Imagine we did exactly what Houston did & drafted Mario Williams than traded for Schaub the next year. We'd have had a front 4 of KVB/Starks/AH/Mario, with Tony Brown subbing in & out with Starks. Bulluck & Thornton as the nickel LB's. That's an incredible front 7. I'd also really want to get greedy & say Pac never got suspended & stayed with us, though Nick Harper was a very nice corner in '07 & '08 & was probably the most underrated player on those defenses.

I'm not going to say we'd beat the '07 Pats in the playoffs, especially with some of the playoff games Schaub has had, but the Giants laid out the recipe for beating dominant QB's in the Super Bowl....get monster pressure with your front 4. They kicked Justin Tuck inside & with Strahan & Osi on the edges they just devastated the Pat OL. The above front 4 would've been even better than there's & our secondary & LB's were also better.

They'd have taken Young.  You and I both know it.

Yep.

We never would of been in that mess had we been a sound franchise and drafted Rodgers in 05 instead of Pac.

We would already have a super bowl most likely, Fisher would still be our coach, and we would be big fish in AFC

here's to hoping we get Arod like career from MM

Very few franchises in the Titans position in 2005 would have drafted Aaron Rodgers.  At the #6 pick with a QB who you think has time left you can't just draft his replacement.  Green Bay had a unique situation where he fell into their lap late in the first round.  I guarantee you Green Bay at #6 would have passed on him too.

Why?

Mac was on his last year with a 50 million bonus due, and we were clearly starting rebuild.

A smart team takes him with an often injured QB on one leg and due 50 million in his mid 30's.

It would have been the right and smart thing to do.

Hell, Parcells should have drafted him.
