Even if more people in the club had been armed it may not have prevented what happened. But the chances of preventing it would have been greater. TDF's numbers in earlier posts in this thread bare that out. No, they don't. His numbers had nothing at all to do with these situations.
abenjami
The chances of preventing it would have been much greater if the guy wasn't able to just buy a gun like that so easily.

You're weird. You think it would be ok to nuke the middle east, but you have a problem with a guy killing 50 people with a gun.

I don't think it's weird to value the lives of my fellow Americans higher than a bunch of people in a fucked up country that produces terrorists. Number9
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2016/06/15/how-a-heroic-marines-military-training-helped-him-save-dozens-from-orlando-gunman/ Imran Yousuf, a bouncer at the Pulse nightclub, had an advantage. A Marine who had served in Afghanistan, Yousuf was able to use his training to quickly identify the impending threat and remain clear-headed as people died around him, according to the Marine Corps Times. Because of the 24-year-old’s decisive actions, he is being credited with saving dozens of lives. **A muslim hero. I think this deserves t's own thread. The guy keep his head and helped save others. Wow he opened a door and ran out. “As soon as people found that door was open, they kept pouring out, and after that we just ran,” he said.

If this was a white Marine that served in Afghanistan would you be calling his heroism into this much question? Shameful.

Shameful. It's this kind of thing that makes this war so difficult. The guy is an ex-Marine and he's American too. I still think, the Islamic community has a responsibility to be extremely vigilant among themselves and rat out terrorist sympathizers. But an overaggressive intelligence force could become like the SS to Muslims.

Depends on if he held the door for the people. If all he did was run the you're definitely right. If he stayed to help in harm's way then he's a hero.
