Cleveland is reportedly head over heels for Wentz...

I say screw it and take Wentz at #1 and tell Cleveland if they want their man they have to at the very least give us a 2nd round pick on top of the 2nd overall pick.

If they call our bluff and stay pat at #2 then their loss... We could still auction Wentz off to the 49ers for the 7th overall pick and their 2nd rounder plus a 2nd next year... Small price to pay for CK to get the #1 QB in the draft.

I think this would be the best way to make the trade with Cleveland happen... No way will they think we're bluffing if we actually take their QB and say "We got the 49ers ready to pull the trigger on multiple picks... Are you sure you won't sacrific just a 2nd this year on top of your #2 overall pick to secure the best QB in this draft?"

Watch Cleveland panic...

Like shooting at someones feet and watching them dance

ridiculous theory, in fact we lose leverage the second we draft Wentz, every team now knows we need to ship him and won't offer anything compelling.

sure we all love to daydream how much we are going to screw the Browns/49ers/Rams for the privilege of jumping up to number 1, but in reality no one in this draft is going to command that type of bounty.

I wouldn't command a high bounty

Just give me a top 10 pick and a 2nd rounder

Dallas would work out the 4th and a 2nd at worst...

Browns would fork out the 2nd and a 3rd at worst...

49ers would fork out the 7th and a 2nd at worst...

Then their is the Rams... Tell them "Give us the 15th and both 2nd's and we will give you Wentz" They would essentially be getting great value and so would we

If it was a great strategy, more teams would use it as opposed to none. In the end, I think we take Tunsil

exactly, no GM is going to risk getting stuck with a QB taken with the first in the draft when you already have a better player on the roster, its just pure madness.

The point is not shooting them... Just around them... Watch them dance until they say " STOP! ILL DO IT! STOPPPP"
