I think someone started talking to himself because he gets own on any bball topic.

You're absolutely right, I'm so stupid when it comes to talking about basketball. Like when I said that Harden would never win the MVP.

Or when I tried to make some ridiculous avatar bet based on the Thunder finishing the season with a better record than the Rockets. Dumb.

Then I said that Houston wasn't even on the same level as the Golden State Warriors even though they went 3-4 against them in the playoffs while the rest of the NBA has a combined record of 3-28 against them over the past two postseasons. I just get owned on all the basketball topics......

Correa has looked lost at the plate since his return. Need to get the bats going.

His offense has been poor all season. They're lucky Bregman has really stepped up and now Tyler White has been great too.

Or how about that time when I was trying to look up team scoring averages for last season that were completely wrong. Duh, I'm stupid.

I was posting a link to annual scoring averages (January 1st to December 31st) instead of the actual season averages for NBA teams.

MVP! MVP! MVP!

You do realize that your whole post just emphasized how Harden was clearly the MVP since he was such a catalyst of the team's success when he was playing well? Lebron should be the NVP every single year but for the same reasons Brady isn't, it's not good for the sport having a unanimous MVP annually for a guys career.

Correa has a .975 career fielding average. Bregamn finished at .931 last year. He has improved greatly to a .971 this year so far, but let's see how he finishes first. I mean Breg hasn't even played a full seasons worth of games yet. A little soon to be putting him on the level of someone who has been doing it at a even higher level for 3 straight years.

Even though Correa may be a better defensive SS than Bregman is at 3rd, he's still probably one of the better defensive 3rd basemen out there.

But offensively Bregman has developed into one of the better hitters in the majors right now. He's even creeping into the MVP discussion in the AL.

He's having a good year but no he's not. He's not even top 5 in AL MVP.

Every game he puts himself more and more into the conversation.

Ain't happening.  Tall about him being in the convo all you want. He wont come close to Trout or Betts.

Bregman cooled off big time over the past 3 weeks, so no he's not going to win the AL MVP. But he could very well finish in the top 5.

He is still the only 3rd baseman in ML history with 30 HR's and 50 doubles in a season. He's 11th in the AL in HR's and first in doubles.

Plus he had 103 RBI's (5th in the AL), 105 runs (5th in the AL), 170 hits (8th in the AL), 96 walks (3rd in the AL), and only 85 strikeouts.

Mookie barely beat him out for the most XBH's in the AL. Mookie had 84 and Bregman ended up with 83. While Trout had just 67 XBH's.

His .286 batting average is only good for 18th in the AL, but his OBP of .394 is 4th best in the AL. If he's not top 5, he will be damn close.

It's a long season. I hope you continue to compare the two. Come talk to me in September about it.

Obviously you can't compare Cole and Darvish this season since poor Yu could only manage to stay healthy for eight games.

But once again you're wrong (big surprise, right?) saying that Gerrit Cole isn't even close to Yu Darvish because it's 100% bullshit.

Cole proved that today when he became just the 2nd pitcher in MLB history to throw at least 12 K's without a walk in a postseason game.

Yea it seems Cole being on a good team actually improved his play. Imagine that....

You mean like when Carmelo joined the Rockets and no longer has to play with a selfish little bitch like Westbrick? Wait and see.....

Another Houston team completely fucked over by instant replay. That HR was clearly over the wall and they call fan interference? :finger3:

No doubt..still pissed about that.

Clearly a HR. Mookie's arm is extended over the wall. Anyone who can't see that is NOT fan interference must be blind!

I hate the fan interference rule. As long as they aren’t reaching down onto the field it should be all fair game. They need to put up netting or higher walls if they are going to allow a call like this to change the outcome of games.
