No one wants to stick with logos out of tradition anymore. I find nothing wrong with the logo the way it is and I'm sick of changes for the sake of change. Leave it the fuck alone. This! Puck Posted July 3, 2015 Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 this is the problem I see with having the Flaming Thumbtack as the primary.it looks off-center on just about every piece of merch they've ever put it on.it looks cool on the side of a helmet, but not on much else when it's offcenter.and the colors are a bit much. it just looks cartoonish in a redneck kinda way.just gander at the T for a minute....don't the red look a little off? like it's hard to even tell those are stars at a distance.clarification: I do think we have one of the cooler helmets, but it just doesn't work on most other apparel.it would look cool and work out better if the flame were moved to the shoulder. Puck Posted July 3, 2015 Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 I get what your saying. as long as there is a T in the center of a circle, unless it is center it is off.the Flames, by design and default make the whole thing off center.i did a few with the flames up and down and it worked out.^ as ugly as those are, those jackets would look MUCH better with the sword down the back. Puck Posted July 3, 2015 Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 in the dozens (maybe hundreds) of color combinations I painted helmets, this color combo with the sword always stood out. it's similar to several in state professional team color schemes (Predators / Grizzlies) which allows for some flexible mix/match outfitting for those into that (for instance, a Titans Jersey w/ a Predators Hat). Would just look cooler and more intimidating as well. Especially before games you could have someone take the sword and thrust it where the main logo would be about mid-field. Also a lot of times with a logo change the team sometimes get better as well. A lot of Tennessee teams have Yellow incorporated in, but I don't think the Titans are going to do yellow, unfortunately. Love the sword logo. I'd be happy if they made it our primary logo over the off enter thumbtack. Do away with the flames. But I suppose it could always be worse. We could be the Browns.
