SirLanceALot
If Jon Gruden is every going to return to coaching, the Titans might have a siren call in their new QB: http://t.co/xzdlQHlMhq — Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) May 21, 2015
MIKE75
But look who wrote the article La Canfora. I've had my hopes up before and then when i see its him i temper expectations.
volntitan
Isn't La Confora the one, and only one, who insisted the Titans were being sold?

SirLanceALot
And he mentions the Titans being sold once again in this article.
MIKE75
If Whisenhunt ultimately fails i do want to see an offensive coach hired who can get the best out of Mariota and the offense. If Kelly falls out of favor in Philly or maybe Gruden wants to come back to coaching. Would be very interesting to see who they hire if they do let Whiz go. Titans279
Wasn't one of Gruden's problems his inability to develop or have success with young QBs? Just a side note, since he's a West Coach offense guy his system/terminology would be completely different from Whiz. Changing coaches after the rookie's first year seems like the #1 mistake in developing a QB so hopefully Whiz is not a shit coach that needs to be canned. A west coach offense would probably fit Mariota well though so there's that. I kind of doubt this would happen or end well though.
reo
If Whis fails, it's probably b/c MM is a bust. This reeks of something floated by Gruden's agent.

Mercalius
Gotta love ol' Lawls Canfora -Speculates that the Titans will still be sold -Speculates that our record will be so bad next season we'll clean house -Speculates that perennial tease Gruden would want to come here in the aftermath -Mostly because of previously overblown ties to TN and an affinity for a QB which according to this same article will have played poorly enough to get the previous staff fired. Rumors are fun, but it's obvious Jason's not a Colgate man.
SirLanceALot
Gruden was high on MM during the draft process this year.
reo
Gruden was high on MM during the draft process this year. Gruden is high on every QB that comes out.

volntitan
I have nothing against Gruden and he certainly had some success in the NFL, but his relationships with both Raiders and the Bucs soured pretty quickly.
Pragidealist
Gruden is high on every QB that comes out.Seemed more genuine with MM than many but who knows. Doesn't matter - can't see Gruden leaving his comfy expert gig for the nfl even if whiz is canned one year into a new qb. But have to say that would be exactly like the a Titans. Draft a qb #2 overall then change coaches the following year...
