Now we added Nicks, Douglass and DGB while keeping Wright and Hunter. While adding an accurate passer in Mariota. Our offensive stats will definitely improve from last season. Face Posted May 2, 2015 Report Share Posted May 2, 2015 It's not like Hunter is a total bust here, plenty of WR's break out their 3rd year. Look at Rueben Randle, his numbers were worse than Hunter's & he had a 1000 yards last year. He had a horrible QB situation until Mett took over & then the OL fell apart. The guy has to get a lot better but he probably would've finished up with about 700 yards, which isn't exactly a bust. You have to kids time, he was considered a but raw. McBride seems like he has none of those character issues, totally different reasons for him falling.  It reminds me of 2006 when the Saints took Colston in the 7th round after taking Bush in the 1st. Staff isn't to high on Hunter, and he just doesn't seem to get it... They go out and draft a WR identical to him, but only 10x more physical, and another WR in McBride that is my favorite pick of the entire draft... I think McBride is out #3 WR by midseason beating out Hunter, and Douglas, and Nicks if Nicks even makes roster... Seattle was also rumored to like DGB as well but maybe theyd settle for hunter and a pick? Weve seemed to like doing business with them in the past.
