For a sixth round pick in his second start, I don't think you could have been disappointed with anything you saw. There were mistakes, as there should be but all you can do is hope to see progression week to week. The kid obviously has all the tools and gives you all kind of hope the way he stands strong in the pocket and keeps his eyes up field. I'm not sure if the sacks yesterday were so much on him or the WRs  not being able to get separation (which i heard the casters says a few times).

I have noticed a common theme between those that do not like Mettenberger. They fall into one of two groups:

1. They are Locker fans bitter that Locker lost his job.

2. They're people that favor the running QB because they are "playmakers." Most likely these people were huge Chris Johnson fans and want the Titans to take a running back somewhere early in the upcoming draft. After, of course, drafting either Marcus Mariota or Brett Hundley in the first.

Seems Mett is trying to do what the coach wants him to do. Unfortunately, the Oline s*cks and the coach doesn't know what he wants to do.  Neither are conducive to furthering a QB's skill set.

Our WRs need to step up and start winning more of the one on one battles. Between them and the Oline, our offense just sux.

Has this only been a problem for the past two games?

No but when Walker went down, so did our passing game. Hunter has been called out for his lack of toughness by the coaching staff and fans. Washington has disappeared for games at a time his entire career. I watched Mett to see if he was going through his progressions and he was. Nobody was open and the Ravens secondary was all backups or rookies or guys they just signed this week.
