i don't know enough about soccer players yer, but I def will join when I have more knowledge.

It's actually a league for people who know nothing about MLS but want to use fantasy sports as a way to get engaged. Only a few of us in it, actually.

Sounds like a weird way for people to meet their future wives.  No wonder there aren't many people in it.

You know some people rely on entertainment and excitement to get them "engaged" with something.

But entering a fantasy league is an interesting way to go about it too!

I hated the "ten minutes of action in a three hour spectacle" that is the NFL... until fantasy got me invested in players enough to really watch and appreciate it, at which point I was invested in teams and all the rest.

Football is boring as shit. Commercial after commercial after stop and reset after time out. It's crap... until you grow as an observer and learn why it isn't. Soccer has far more action in half the time. Far more games in a season, too. The trade off is scoring. Anyone claiming otherwise is less making a case and more just noting what they've been conditioned to believe.

I think that is one reason why all the "boring" talk just falls on deaf ears.  Football's 10 minutes of action vs the constant back and forth of a soccer match is no contest. Anyone saying otherwise is just full of their own bias and aren't worth the discussion.

Every year I get hyped up about the Titans season but it takes me several games to adjust from the pace and movement of soccer to all the commercials and stops in football.    Both sports have value and can be fun just as both can be boring.   Trying to slant one as more boring as the other... it's like saying green is red to me. Its so false its hard to get interested for a discussion on the topic.
