Jamalisms
Bradley is way off his form. ... and if ILF has $5 and I have $10, saying I have more isn't a prediction. It's an assessment of reality and what exists.. and in that case ILF has no chance of having more money than me until he gets more than he has or I get less. Go watch the first four games, takes notes and then come back to the table to try and argue Ghana didn't outperform Portugal by a mile. For Portugal to win, the dynamic of their comparative form has(d) to change. That's a statement on the past, not a prediction of the future. Get a clue. Pragidealist
Bradley had a bad touch or 2 in the rain but he didn't have a bad game overall. He had two bad touches in a field soaked with rain. Jones ran into his own player and ref. Johnson let two bad balls played through on the inside. Ect good team game Good result
wiscotitansfan
Disagree on Bradley not having a bad game.. This si the first time this tournament I will say he is playing to what the media is saying. Portugal dominated the shit outta Ghana, they had a few good looks but the game was similar to ours. Complete domination in what resulted in only a one goal game.

He was rarely dispossessed this game. On target on his passes. Made to timely tackles and was almost always in the right position
chef
I actually like soccer more than I thought I would like it but what burns me up is the ridiculous acting jobs these guys do. They fake injuries constantly. I'll cut the guy who got bitten some slack because he was trying to draw attention to what happened but you would think a Bear bit off his entire shoulder the way he was acting. The guy was writhing in pain motioning for the EMTs and crap. Then when he exposed his "badly" bitten shoulder there wasn't much there. Suarez should be banned from soccer and placed in a mental ward for sure but the antics by these guys is ridiculous. Guys get carted off with what looks like broken limbs all the time only to pop up off the stretcher and go back into the game.

IsntLifeFunny
Portugal never dominated that game. They didn't play much differently than the game against us, though they weren't pummeled like they were on Sunday. They were hurt, tired, and had a couple lucky breaks. Bad luck lost the game for Ghana, though they never threatened our point differential. Jamal literally has no idea what he's talking about. If he thinks Portugal changed schemes or produced more effort to win that game he is an idiot. They literally played the exact same way they did against us, giving up several easy opportunities. They won because of luck, just like CTF and I talked about happens all the time in soccer. Hilarious that he uses some stupid analogy to illustrate his illconceived point after he's been squarely owned. Have fun with your ignorant arrogance, punk. Jamalisms
Let's give ILF the benefit of the doubt that he has gone back and watched the Ghana v Portugal game in full as opposed to making this up. After all, it would be daft to discuss the play of a game that one didn't watch, especially when the stats suggest Wisco has the more accurate opinion. He still doesn't understand the difference between style and quality/execution, sadly, and is avoiding the matter of what was actually stated. To sum: Lol
IsntLifeFunny
Keep acting like you know what you're talking about. It's quite hilarious.
IsntLifeFunny
The only thing that is "daft" (nice edit) is some dumbass making a stupid prediction, being called out on it, then being owned, and then continuing on like he was right the whole time. Jamalisms
Still waiting on your analysis of the first four games. I'll even give you the benefit of doubt that you've watched those as well.

I guarantee you he had one of the highest passing percentages on the team- as he did last game. He was rarely dispossessed this game. On target on his passes. Made to timely tackles and was almost always in the right position I don't remember specifically what he did this game but this was the first game this past 2 months or so I was consistently getting annoyed at Bradley. Not everything that I got upset about was a gimme but there were times when he didn't make things happen when he should have offensively and times where he was completely out of position defensively if I remember correctly. Basically I am saying he played extremely mediocre when he should consistently be one of our game changers
wiscotitansfan
I haven't looked at stats whatsoever but in terms of quality chances, Portugal had too many over the course of the whole game to say they got a few lucky breaks. I was more interested in that game too compared to probably everyone in the bar I was at since I knew that was more important in terms of a realistic chance at us advancing (I sat front row center at the bar in between both TVs and probably legitimately had my eyes on Portugal 40% of the game)
chef
So who thinks we beat Belgium?
Jamalisms
Well they beat us pretty handily in a friendly just a bit ago. They're a pretty strong side. Odds are low but with some rest and luck... eh. Probably not. One hopes, but it'd be a pretty big upset.
