OILERMAN
I think some people are delusional about the options for replacing CJ. He has put up over 1K every year of his career. 1000 yards rushing isn't shit. In fact in the history of the NFL every time a RB has started 16 games he's gotten 1000 yards aside from a couple of times. It's almost impossible not to get 1000 yards in a season. He's almost not done it twice in the last 3 years. The last 3 years he's pretty much only done anything when the Titans were facing a terrible run defense/ or back-ups(Bears and Texans). Some of the homers blame the OL for his terrible running but the truth is he's not effective unless plays are perfectly blocked and he had gaping holes, something totally unsustainable in the NFL. He's not good in short yardage, he's not good on 3rd down etc.....He's a one trick pony who rarely ever does his one trick. It's not that people are delusional, the truth is people don't understand how bad he really is.

OILERMAN
AP hasn't, Think bout that Yes AP has gotten 1000 yards every time he's played 16 games, the only time he didn't do it is when he only played 12 games and still got within 30 yards You don't want to compare CJ to AP, it's embarrassing. CJ can't carry his jock. And on top of that AP hasn't helped the Vikes do anything. They'd be better off without him and his salary and playing their back-up RB. AFCman
You don't want to compare CJ to AP, it's embarrassing. CJ can't carry his jock. It's amazing how CJ's been put on the Mt. Rushmore of RB's when he's really just another rock at the bottom of the hill. He COULD have been the best of all time if his work ethic and attitude had been there. Instead, he wasted most of his years and talents by doing just enough to get paid.
titans0711
According to teamrankings.com, out of 100 players, including RB, FB and QB, whose 2013 records they compared, only 13 got over 1000 yards. CJ was number twelve on the list. Below him at number 13 was Reggie Bush. That doesn't really sound like 1000 yards ain't shit. And we aren't even including yards off passes. These are just rushing yards. Seems to me he scored at least two TD's off passes with a decent after catch gain on each one. Like I said, that 2000+ year was a curse. He may be expensive but that is the way the contract was written. I still think he can be a potent weapon if used right and I think the new coaching staff will do that. Comparing CJ's rushing totals to quarterbacks is about the only way you could put him near the top of the list.

CMJ
Title should be: (I think) Chris Johnson is staying and OMAN will be OWNED
NashvilleNinja
It's real simple: CJ's production has not matched his salary and he is on record saying that he will not take a paycut. Regardless of your opinion of CJ the player, CJ the man is paving his own road out of Nashville.
AFCman
CJ has also said that he cares more about his stats than touchdowns.
dannynj
I'd like to see the Titans re do Johnson's deal and keep him just to see Kuharsky lose his mind.
OILERMAN
Most teams use a platoon of RBs that's why only 13 got it, not because it's hard
