Will Solomon make the team?

So we drafted a couple of guys last year that were either switching positions or had done so in college. Thompson is seen as a guy with upside who may be starting to come on. Yeah, he played in HS, but so what? Lots of people played different positions in HS. That doesn't mean they can play it in the NFL.

Solomon was moved to DE in college. He was good there (in college!) and showed a lot of promise. Now we are moving him to OLB. Will this work, or does it spell the end of him? Will he make the team this year? Practice Squad? What do you think about this guy?

I dont think he has much going for him, he's big, fits the 3-4 OLB mold, but he's too slow to be a good LB. Guys with his speed are usualy only good cause they know their assignments, he's just now learning the posisition.

He is a late round pick. Not like there is much invested in him. I doubt he will make the team. . . . . . Now, if they were to make Klug a MLB it might be different.

Do not see it happening though. We have a lot of MLB. McCarthy (Even if he is injured all the time), Foku, Adibi and McGrath is coming back from the IR :P

McRath is history, he juices, he's injury prone, and he stunk, plus his contract ran out 3 months ago.

There was a time when McGrath looked like the real deal. Always loved his speed. Thought he could make a good nickle LB. But he has not been the same since the juicing.

Yea his rookie year he was showing real promise, thought he'd develope into somebody.

Playing behind Jason Babin ruined his life.
