The story about VY going to jail for the 2nd DUI was the perfect example of his mindset. He talked about wanting to beat up the cop. Not because the cop mistreated him but because he knew the media backlash that was coming as result of the arrest. It was the cops fault.

I'm not disagreeing with a lot of your post and Fisher did come off poorly, more petty. But using Scaife and White to confirm VY's side of things would hardly represent proof of how "everyone" in the locker room saw Fisher. You can throw in his sisters and mom too. Not exactly impartial people.

First we know Cam is The Man to take us on our next run. He's not falling apart. I believe he takes us to the Super Bowl! Kurt Warner Study Ball on Cam Ward above talks a lot about the positioning of his body and feet. He's been training with Colbert two summers I think. What is Darrell Colbert teaching him? Footwork and body angles? Every time I see excerpts of the training, it's the long ball. I have never seen him address any other areas or faults.

Being the number one overall pick changes expectations in a big way. Way more pressure than even a top 5 or ten pick. Also doesn't help that the success rate isn't great - 4 out of 28 retired number 1 overall QBs are in the HOF. People expect that guy to come in and play lights out and that's not how it usually works. The important thing is we see progress. I'd love a drake maye bump but I'll take a Caleb Williams level of improvement.
