Hell yeah! Oh Captain My Captain! Huge goal. You know they HATE Weber in Detroit. Love getting 2 points in this game.

Couldn't think of a better way to end it, honestly. I remember "Weber to Detroit" being a done deal for a few seasons now from 90% of Detroit's cocky ass fanbase. Has to burn their ass seeing him in yellow for the long haul, especially when he throws in the dagger like that. I pity the man that stands between a Shea Weber slapshot (even though this wasn't quite one) and the goal. He's a far braver, although much dumber, soul than I.

News Channel 5 is reporting that a man clad in yellow is wanted in the slaying of a Detroit hockey player, along with many of the city's hopes and dreams. This man is armed with an L-shaped stick and is considered highly dangerous. DO NOT, we repeat, DO NOT stand in front of this man when he's standing behind a hockey puck. If you have any information on the whereabouts of this man, keep it to yourself, because we all know he's going to be in Nashville, Tennessee for a very long time.

Good game on both sides, as much as I hate 3 point games, both sides deserved at least a point tonight. Freaky bounce off the boards went the Preds way, the hockey gods made up for the missed call last night (although I gotta question making such a bitch about one goal when you give up six). Wings really miss Lidstrom, he consistently stopped the rush at their blue line and often started their offense with passes out of the back end; give them credit for fighting through having to bring in their no. 2 (who was claimed off waivers) cold and hanging in there; also credit to the Preds for surviving the initial rush at the beginning of OT and coming back and winning it.

Great atmosphere last night. Almost like a playoff game. I don't remember seeing Weber celebrate a goal like the game winner last night. The whole team for that matter. It was obviously huge for them. Detroit gave it their all. Datsyuk is a badass mofo. That was a highlight reel goal. But Pekka trumped his ass. Weber is starting to hit his scoring groove now and the Preds young guns are really stepping up. Guys like Yip and Gill have been healthy scratches because the Yutes are playing so well. The sellout streak continues at 21 iirc. Smashville, baby!

I kind of figured we might have a letdown game like that. We had beaten them 8 or 9 times in a row and the bounces were going their way early. I don't think we played as badly as the score would indicate. The team played with good energy. We did have a defensive breakdown or two but overall I felt like it was just one of those trap games.

Colin Wilson is really coming into his own too. He's having a great season so far- leading the team in scoring and having more points than bigger names like Giroux and Parise. Hopefully his level of play continues.

He could be huge for us.
