Guest Posted February 20, 2013 Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 I can't think of a way to segment that type of play from making all off sides reviewable which would be a nightmare. Almost like making balls and strikes in baseball reviewable. They are usually bang bang plays. the reality is it was such an obviously terrible call and so out of the ordinary you'll probably never see anything like it again. I can't remember such a bad missed off sides call. And then they end up losing by one goal to boot. The perfect storm. What I meant by making it reviewable is that you consider the offsides part of the "goal." It's more intent of the law than letter of it, but it would make the game better and the officials in the booth probably saw it right away. If you have to power to fix it, why not? We've had plenty of PP chances tonight--I'd like to see us convert one more. Love the way Rinne is playing, and I love the heads up goal tending. I was really surprised to see Howard pulled.
