So you can thank me with a draft pick in the upcoming draft.. I swear all my fantasy teams sucked this year.. Best moves I made was grabbing the Browns D and Spiller.. N/A Posted December 7, 2012 Report Share Posted December 7, 2012 It's on like donkey kong. I don't like how I backed into the playoffs, but it's a new season now. Also, for the teams that didn't make the playoffs... there is still a consolation round and I'm considering using that to determine who gets the first pick in next years draft. In fact, I'm thinking that the two teams that make it to the "consolation championship" game will be the two teams that get the top two picks, seeded according to who wins that game. The other four teams could get random draft slotting for picks 3-6. Thoughts? If we have a vote, I vote no. The worst team should get 1st pick since the worst team might not have that many good keepers, that way the worst teams can build for future keepers. Probably have worst teams bail if they are drafting like 7th then we will have to look for new players who probably would not want the teams. Also, why constant rule changes? Considering we're probably only going to have 2 keepers, assuming that's still the way people want it, it's not going to make that much of a difference. Not only that, it gives people incentive to continue playing after the regular season has ended. If your team can get into the consolation "championship" your team will have either the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft. Also, why constant rule changes? My league, my rules.
