OILERMAN
They will say we have an agenda and then continue to ignore the reality of the situation. I thought Straight Shooter made this thread as a joke and just to get reaction but who the hell knows anymore
big2033
Somewhere around the 3rd quarter CJ had 9 carries for 22yards, 2 fumbles and 2 catches for -3yds. He had a good play, not a good game. Overall he was terrible. From what I remember he had 11 carries for 40 yards in the first half. Nice try though. Then in his first carry in the 3rd he got 10 yards.
Denali
CJ should be AFC offensive player of the week.

The reality is he is the only good thing about this team right now. No matter what you think of him... what else have we got?
OILERMAN
From what I remember he had 11 carries for 40 yards in the first half. I was going off memory but whatever, he also had 2 fumbles and -3yards receiving. He was terrible and contributed to the loss with many others today. His 80yder against back-ups down 30 points doesn't change that
Denali
So, who is more delusional? CJ, or the CJ homers?

TampaTitan
Bright spot? How? A meaningless run in garbage time? What exactly qualifies as garbage time in regards to this team? We were down 31-2 early in the 2nd quarter. Every offensive play from that point forward could essentially be considered garbage time and meaningless. Before the long run I believe he had 11 carries for 50 yards (not 100% on that). That's not too bad an average against that defense. And the majority of those runs were still after we were down huge. Basically, you can't judge anything based off of his performance because they were all garbage, throw away plays.

OILERMAN
He was averaging 3.6yds per carry before the long run And I think the Bears considered it garbage time since they had their back-ups in
WG53
So you agree that an 80 yard TD against backups down 20 in the 4th quarter is meaningless?

But again, he's the only bright spot on this team. Can you dispute that? He ran hard today. Had a good ypc against the best run D BEFORE his monster run. But he had fumbles which we both know he rarely does. But he's still running well.
Guest
The reality is he is the only good thing about this team right now. No matter what you think of him... what else have we got? Can't really argue with you. For the record I didn't expect CJ to do anything today and woukdn'tvhave held it against him. It just bugs me that people want to prop his performance up today. OILERMAN
So, who is more delusional? CJ, or the CJ homers? Go back and watch the 4th quarter after the long run. He runs as hard as he has all year knowing he has a great stat line and is trying like hell to pads those numbers.
