Fleaflicker league trade

NashvilleNinja probably really thought I was a stranger joining the league, after I left and came back, and he reset the password so a stranger could not join. I no longer have the original email, if you do, would you tell me it so I can try and see if I can rejoin or use the "invite" button, under Front Office, on line item where I initially left, to send me an invitation to join it?

Maybe I should've just made you the commissioner to begin with, Nines. That way you could have had the entire league the way you wanted it, down to the nitty gritty details, and you wouldn't have felt the need to spam the shit out of the league's forum. I've gotten nothing but the impression from you that you didn't want to be in this league from the beginning. You were trying to get me to find someone else to take your place before I even filled the league, for whatever reasons. Roster settings, scoring rules, trade deadline, or whatever the fuck. All things I think I've proven to be very flexible on. You've even stated recently that you would leave the league if we changed it from a 1 RB league to a 2 RB league. I started the poll in this forum to see what others wanted because, believe it or not, I do actually WANT to run a fair league. But I guess I'm supposed to keep it at 1 RB just for you, regardless of what the rest of the league might like/want?

I'm sorry you drafted your team with a certain strategy in mind. But guess what? Everybody else drafted under the same rules and settings, with their own strategies in mind. Me changing the roster reqs, along with the keeper settings, would affect my team just as much as it would affect yours or anyone else's. So why are you acting like you're being singled out? Because of the trade? You accepted the trade, Mr. "I gave up perhaps the top player going forward"!! Hell you've had him on the trading block for just about the entire fucking season! And you're either sitting on the edge of dementia or you're just a lying ass dog for saying that I was the one that proposed it. *You* proposed the trade yesterday and then canceled it around 6:00PM. Then when I re-proposed the trade you accepted it. And this wasn't the first time you've proposed a trade with Griffin. You've been on my nuts about Stafford and one of my WR's since the beginning of the season. The first trade request I got from you was Griffin and Larry Fitzgerald for Stafford and Brandon Marshall and you offered that trade right after opening weekend after Griffin and Marshall both blew up the stat sheet.

But yeah I'm the one who really proposed the trade... all with the sinister plot to change league settings and eventually take advantage of your draft strategy.

You can't make rule changes in the middle of the season. It's just bad practice, regardless of you alls trade.

Now go to my thread and pick two starters please.

I wasn't going to make rule changes of any kind in the middle of the season. The changes I was proposing wouldn't have been made, if they were made, until next season. Maybe I should've waited until after the season to propose them, but I'm betting it'd have caused an even bigger shit stir with Nines.

We should just stick with three keepers.

I'm totally fine with that. I'd even bump it up to four if that's what everyone wanted. But Nines apparently wants 70 keepers. I guess he thinks they'll get him into fantasy football heaven. Allah akbar, indeed. Fucking suicide-bombing the league's forum, hijacking the team he abandoned, then putting all the players on the trading block, and now trying to slander me as a shit commissioner. Sure, I'll welcome him back to the league.

I no longer have the original email, if you do, would you tell me it so I can try and see if I can rejoin or use the "invite" button next to me team to send me an invitation to join it?

Uh yeah, I didn't know what to think. I thought the league had been hacked until I realized you abandoned your team and spammed the shit out of the forum. Honestly, if I thought you were going to behave like a fucking grown up instead of going all Veruca Salt on me I would let you back into the league. But I'm kinda leery of it at this point... especially at 2am in the fucking morning and well over an hour logged typing up this post and trying to keep myself from just cussing you like a god damn sailor, leaving it at that, and gaining a little more sleep.

Maybe I should just take all your best WR's, give you all my shit WR's, and let you play out the rest of the season that way. Because yeah... that's what a real shit commissioner would do. But I guess I'm just a nickel and dime wanna be shit commissioner. Small potatoes. I take advantage one trade at a time. <_<

On situation:

No, what you did was structurally change the nature of the league going from 3 keepers (which is low already), to 2 keepers changing the league from a light keeper league (with 3 keepers) to basically a Frankenstein monster as far as keeper (what is the point of only keeping 2.) And you made this move (proposed vote) right after you propose a trade, that you apparently were not comfortable in doing (and you did propose it - see more below) and you do it right on the eve of trade deadline.

I am active in fantasy football, and I did two major trades moving toward the future, thinking we would have 3 keepers. Now you turn that around (1) again right after you propose and do a trade with me and (2) right at trade deadline so I cannot now change my strategy (for example, I would trade some of my good, but not keeper worthy players for draft picks if only keeping 2 keepers but cannot even so that to salvage anything from the trade since our league has such an early trade deadline that coincidentally is right when you make all the changes.)

On who proposed the trade:

I was unsold on RG3 at first, so yes I put him on trading blocks. You initially offered Stafford straight up a few weeks ago. I rejected it. a Week or two later, you sent me messages asking what I would want for him. I replied Marshall or Green as part of the trade (I might have proposed such a trade, I do not recall, but if I did you rejected it.)

Then on Monday (10/22), you proposed Stafford and AJ Green for RG3 and Reggie Wayne and your 2013 3rd round pick for my 4th round, then you cancelled it before I even saw it. Then you sent a private message on this forum, asking what it would take to get RG3. I then proposed your original trade, except no draft picks, back to you. I then started doing some research (as I do not follow college football) on RG3 and found that he is actually a natural passer and very accurate (so not just a superb running QB but a good passer too.) I then decide I would not do the trade and I canceled my offer before you accepted it. But a few hours later, you came back with the same trade. At first I was going to reject it, but then I thought AJ Green would be a solid keeper, and being a PPR league, having a decent PPR RB (Mathews), top TE (Gronkowski) and top WR (Green) would be good way to go in a PPR keeper league keeping 3 players and was wroth giving up RG3 and being weaker this year. I then accepted it.

You then come to this forum showing you did not like the trade (and others can read how the trade evolved in the paragraphs above and determine who proposed what) and at the same time, you make a rule change proposal to change keeper # and again, right at eve of trade deadline. Maybe that is coincidence. But it is VERY suspect, especially if others recall that right after the draft, you proposed a whole redo of the draft (I have never seen a commissioner propose canceling a draft after it happens.) So there is a pattern that you make structural changes when you do not like how your team looks. Or was that a coincidence too?

On not wanting to be in the league:

Yes, I was hesitant to be in the league from the beginning. You asked me to be in it and I said yes, but I am very active in fantasy football and in too many leagues, and I restrict how many leagues I join, so by being in this one, I limited others leagues I joined and a keeper league is a multi-year involvement, so I was hesitant and I figured if you were full and someone else strongly wanted to be in it (I did not know, so asked), I would let that person join in my place (a win-win for everyone.)

On the league going forward:

I am active and enjoy fantasy football, so after all my time so far in this one, I would want to keep it going (I overreacted after all the above happened for reasons clearly explained above.)

And again, I did not really want to do the trade but did it 100% on the fact that we were a 3 keeper league. You seem to not really like the trade either (hence this thread), so in light of 1) you being commissioner and you proposed this trade (by this I mean. a commissioner should be more guarded about trades he does and rule changes, affecting that trade, he does) , 2) you immediately showing remorse of the trade after it was done and 3) you then making structural change proposal to the league that help your side of the trade and weaken mine (again maybe a coincidence but suspect) :

please reverse the trade and give me RG3 and Reggie Wayne back and go to 2 keepers if that is what you and others want. But do not do all this stuff, right at trade deadlines and right after you propose a trade that has bearing on those decisions. (And give me the password to join today, because I want to make free agent and line-up changes - or if you do not want me to rejoin, let me know, so i can forget about it.)

you can join back if you take my team over and I take yours.

If Nines is out, NN bench all of his guys. Cupcake matchup for everyone.

A vacated team should not be in the position to win a division.

No, a vacated team should not hand wins to some people while having fielded a competitive lineup.

A vacated team should not exist in the first place, either, but that's another matter.
