Amazing Brady/P. Manning Stats

In Tom Brady's career, he is 69-11 in the regular season at home for an 86.25 winning %. Of the 11 losses, NONE have come against a team with a .500 record or worse. And in one of the losses, against 9-7 Miami in 2005, he played maybe a quarter. He has a bunch of losses against 9-7, 10-6 teams.

In Peyton Manning's career, not including his rookie year in which he obviously lost a bunch of games at home, he is 75-22 in the regular season at home for a 77.32 winning %. Of the 22 losses, 20 have come against teams with over .500 records. Only their losses vs Jacksonville (5-11) in 2008 and Dallas (6-10) in 2010 were against teams at or below .500.

I bet if you go down the list of the all-time great QB's, taking out each of their rookie seasons, you won't find two more QB's who have numbers like that.

VY beat the playoff bound Colts(barely).... when they rested all their starters

True. Let's call it 14-11 and only 2 of the 11 losses were to teams with losing records.

On the other side of the coin, it looks like only 2 of his 14 home wins were against teams with winning records.

So, in home games against good teams, his record was 2-9. I could be off by a game or two.

What does all this mean? Exactly what you and I said many times over. VY's record looked better than he was because his team was good enough to beat shitty teams in spite of him.

I wish I had the old post I made with the games VY won with a passer rating 60 or less, with less than 200 passing and games with more INTs than TDs. He also won an amazing amount of games the team scored 14 points or less.

Not to mention in 2008 when he went undefeated as a starter(the game he quit in and Collins won)

Without looking it up I bet of the 30 wins in TN he won more of them with a QB rating of above 80 than below.

And I also bet that he won more of the 30 games with either an even amount or more TD/INT than less.

I could be wrong.
