Maybe we should start recording earlier in the evening every time, haha. I thought we were conversational, to the point, and hopefully entertaining. Curious to see reactions to this show.

Thanks once again to everyone that listens.

Josh hit on the main thing... even with Locker's miscues and overall sucky performance, the offense still looked good and we were still making plays. Locker was the catalyst behind CJ's 1st TD when his big run.

Sounds awfully similar to what we used to see on Sundays with Mac and EG.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought I heard a dog a couple of times. What'd he think of Locker getting the start?

Lol! Not sure if serious, but I do have a dog.

Josh or Jamal, did you guys hear anything last night? Haha. I don't remember, but who knows.

The thing with Reynaud is this isn't the case of him being a running back who's bounced around the league. This is his first season playing running back. When he played with other organizations he was competing as a wide receiver. At 5'-9" the deck is stacked against you.

Also why can't you get Reynaud snaps in-game? I don't understand the reasoning that he would only get snaps as a returner. I don't see Ringer's 3.1 yard carry average as irreplaceable. The skill-set is there regardless of who he's playing. He's explosive laterally and he's quick to get north and south. He's a pretty fearless runner as well and has generally stuck with his run keys and ran inside when it was there. He's not someone who has shown that he's going to try and "bounce" his runs outside.

Maybe he does need to work on his pass-protection, so do 99% of the running backs that come into the league from college. Where could this guy be in a year as a converted running back / returner? This is an offense that's more on the level of the Packers and Patriots. You have to value weapons and not just traditional roles. There's going to be a number of packages that are multiple and guys will be motioned around. Having a running back who's a former wide receiver who's pretty electric in space is a major weapon.

Edit. Just got to the part where you mention my post Jonboy, hah. Is Ringer better than Cedric Benson? I think so. Keep in mind this team traded for Quinn Johnson. Teams swap guys or conditional picks all the time this time of year. I also think it's a very interesting position to say that Ringer doesn't have much value because he performed much and can't stay healthy but he's also invaluable to this team.

If Ringer is valuable enough to be a "lock" for the roster as a back-up, how can you possibly say that he doesn't have value to another team. The consensus seems to be that he's our third down back and a very capable replacement if Chris Johnson is injured. If that's true, how is he not valuable to a team that basically has no running back (Green Bay)?

I think it's you, but if there is a dog... he thinks Jake is awesome when he throws the BALL.... IT'S A BALL... I HOPE HE THROWS IT!!!

I suspect the dog would like to compete at WR. Only problem is getting him to hand the ball over to the officials whenever he fetches a catch. Damn refs will be chasing him all over the field.

If Reynaud has been fighting more for a wr at other teams and has been fighting for a rb slot here, that could help him. If he can play more of a wr/rb split then that could help him dress for games and maybe get on the field outside of the return game.
