UT Vols 2012

I don't keep up with what's going on with the team, though I do root for them whenever I happen to catch a game.

What do you think 2012 is going to look like? Bowl game in the future or just another one of those "wake me when it's over" seasons?

TN residents that root for Alabama disgust me.

I live 10 minutes from the Alabama line and closer to Tuscaloosa than Knoxville so I really don't care...

ROLL TIDE

I have bled crimson since the day my mom brought me home from the hospital as a baby in a Bama outfit...

So move to that shithole of a state.

So move to that shithole of a state.

They have a state income tax brother.. I think I will stay right where I am but if it bothers you so bad you should probably stay out there in east TN with all the other hillbillies close to Kentucky and Virginia... There are as many bama fans in southern middle TN as there are Vols fans..

yeah it all rest on Bray.. The will have a defense but they will have to move the ball in the air to compete... I can't hate on them too much cause I like Dooley..

BUT

ROLL TIDE

I'm pretty sure the entire SEC loves Dooley and hope he stays in Knoxville for decades. <_<

Nope.. The county I live in and the 2 surrounding it on both sides can be under a tornado warning and Nashville news would not even mention it, Huntsville news would be all over it keeping me and mine safe...

You ask me I am just going in the direction of the folks that care... ;)

Maybe our signal just doesn't reach that far out into the boondocks... :P

Seriously, maybe there's just some kind of agreement between the broadcast stations. I don't know.

UT will live and die by the passing attack this year.

Seriously though, there is potential there to be the most efficient passing attack in college football. There's no way a SEC team will have the highest passing numbers, but the efficiency and decision-making of Bray is what really impressed me in limited playing time last year. He has one of, if not best 1-2 wr punch of Da'Rick Rogers and Justin Hunter with talent beyond those positions in 5 star JUCO recruit Cordarrelle Patterson and senior starter TE Mychal Rivera being the other options. I think they could pull a similar run to Arkansas of two years ago if they embrace that their D can't stop anyone and try to engage teams in a shootout.

The D is really suspect though. This isn't a deep or two-sided team. They need everyone to stay healthy and for Bray to tap into his potential. If that happens, then they can compete for the east in a somewhat down year for their schedule (tough teams at home).
