ChesterCopperpot1
Argued before scotus today. it did not go well for Trump. I could be off base, but it would not surprise me if the opinion was 7-2 that Trump exceeded his authority under the statute used to impose tariffs. good account to follow for the oral arg: IsntLifeFunny
IsntLifeFunny
Even if this implodes the economy because of the whiplash (it won't) please let this happen. It would be so fucking hilarious watching Trump have a meltdown.

Of course, but tell that to Republicans. It will also be hilarious watching Trump turn on Scotus. He usually goes harder after people who defy him than those he considers opposition/enemy. ChesterCopperpot1
The fact that ACB even brought up the consequences of them finding his tariffs unlawful gives me pause. That’s now how this works. Either the law gives him the power to tariff or it doesn’t. Whether it’s difficult to unwind or not matters none. ctm, and IsntLifeFunny
