Casey Anthony acquitted of all charges except giving false ifno

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/07/05/jury-reaches-verdict-in-casey-anthony-trial/

I've boiled down our justice system criteria for getting away for murder.

There are 4 prerequisites (Need only 2 of 4) --

#1. Be Rich.

#2. Be White.

#3. Be Female

#4. Be popular/In the media

Hopefully the ones that are responsible for the death are brought to justice, but it will probably just be an unsolved case.

Casey Anthony is most likely guilty but did the state prove that beyond a reasonable doubt? Absolutely not. Everything in this case is circumstantial evidence. I would have actually been more disappointed with our justice system if she was found quilty with the evidence that was presented.

There is no doubt the Casey did it.

Who the fuck doesn't report their missing child for 31 days?

This jury is as bad as the jury for the OJ Simpson case.

It was pretty damn clear that Casey was the guilty party.

Such a shame that justice wasn't served.

Justice was not served because a baby is dead and no party has been convicted. The jury however did their job by following the facts of the case and the state could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she was quilty. She was not found innocent, she was found not quilty and there is a difference. If anyone is to blame it is the state, not the jury.

They acquitted her of even man slaughter.....lol

The state proved she killed her kid, they just couldn't prove exactly how or where she did it. Hopefully we get to hear from the jury.

What proof did the state present beyond circumstantial evidence?

I heard one of the alternate jurors interviewed, he said he was totally on board with the not guilty. The guy was totally clueless. He said he believed it was an accident and the family tried to cover it up. The host asked the juror why the dad would let it go all the way until the end with his daughter facing the death penalty without admitting it was an accident and the guy went stone silent. He had never even considered that flaw in that argument.

There was no confession or video, that true.

Do you think she killed her kid regardless of the burden of proof?

People need to remove emotion from the equation and take a serious look at the evidence. While some of us think she did it, and I'm one of them, The prosecution had way too many holes in their case starting with the fact they didn't have a cause or time of death plus there were no witnesses. No legit jury would sentence someone to death on circumstantial evidence alone.

It does not matter what I think. With this reasoning you are essentially saying that people should be convicted based on the consensus public perception which is idiotic in itself.

I didn't pay attention to the case at all but this is about what I figured happened.

And to the OP... OJ? All you gotta do is be rich, man.
