eastwood
I'm glad. Let's just move on.
Jamalisms
Warmed to the idea of having him, but was overall ambivalent about him. Upset why we pursued him, and now seeing that we didn't land him I am upset at the 'what if.' Still think Mario was a pipe dream.
Dmeade-
Hell yeah this is the best thing for the Titans.
CMJ
It would have been exciting, but truthfully having Locker to fall back on and not having to give Manning so much money makes me good with the outcome.
Tim
I would have been fine with it either way. The people that are the most pissed are the delusional fans that think we would have paid Mario Williams 16 million per. LMAO that that was going to happen. reo
Only bad part was missing out on Myers/Wells.
cenj
Lol, why am I not surprised that Scine09 -- who I apparently disagree with on almost every viewpoint -- wanted Jughead and is pissed he won't be a Titan?
Opus74
How about a fourth option - Disappointed but we'll get over it.. I don't get the pissed-off option. He didn't do anything to disrespect us and made the decision that he feels is best for himself and his family. I just don't get all the hand-wringing and jabs at him or Bud either, for that matter. Jamalisms
Only bad part was missing out on Myers/Wells. And who knows what we would have done at DE once Mario's $ got too large.
reo
I still think there's a good chance we go for Freeney.
TITANfb1
I voted don't care. I'm just pissed that we missed out on a few players that we could've signed.
WhiskeyAlphaBravo
Lifelong UT fan, Nashville-long Titans fan....gotta admit, I was stoked when I found out we were pursuing him, but am I mad? Disappointed, but I'll get over it. I was just looking forward to seeing the Collesium back to its glory days. Peyton Manning under center for the Titans would have meant a capacity crowd every single game. I just hope the apathy that seems to have infected the town over the last few years goes away. Dmeade-
Peyton Manning under center for the Titans would have meant a capacity crowd every single game. I would rather it not be at capacity if it meant feeling it up with ex-colts/bandwagon titan fans.
WhiskeyAlphaBravo
I would rather it not be at capacity if it meant feeling it up with ex-colts/bandwagon titan fans. Perhaps, but do you really think the players would really care who's cheering them on?? I miss the old Adelphia Coliseum-feel to Titans games...its been a while since we've had a LOUD stadium.
