True story.....

I was talking to a co-worker who's a Trump supporter about the rally in Dallas last night. I was saying those people are crazy, don't care etc.......

During the conversation he openly said there was something fishy going on with Trump and Russia, he also said what Trump did to the Kurds was horrible. Without blinking he said it didn't affect his support for Trump.

I had a similar experience last weekend at a bar. Got into a conversation with a ‘libertarian’ (aka staunch Republican) who I proceeded to thoroughly dissect. He was pretty shocked to watch his arguments at every turn be countered with logic in a non-aggressive manner. He slowly started to agree with me on the entirety of the Ukraine and Syria situations. He even admitted, yeah this is fucked up.

Then em we all know what happened next: “yeah, but at least he’s not Hillary”. SMH.

We had 50 troops on that border. 50. Those 50 troops kept the peace.

This is another thing that President Trump is throwing away - the weight of the US military.

Those 50 troops did not keep the peace - the knowledge of what would happen later if you attacked those 50 troops is.   Now that President Trump has backed down and opened the way for Russia, that weight is lifted to some degree.  If it continues, Russia et al will not worry about attacking US interest directly - they know the US will back down.  Trump is on the road to making the most powerful military less so, a situation that would result in the US having to deploy more troops to accomplish what it was able to accomplish before with less.

It’s Donald Trump’s fault you jackass.

I stated before I didnt think the way Trump handled it was good. But getting back to the point. If the Turkish president tells Pence that he will abide by a 5 day cease fire, and then doesn't,  how is it Pence's fault?

With the "ceasefire" not being so either two things happened:

1) Either Trump lied and there was no ceasefire

2) Turkey did agree to a ceasefire with the intent not to honor it - which means President Trump has created a situation were countries no longer respect the US military.

I dont believe Trump will send troops in there. This is a long fight between people who hate each other based primarily on religion. It was there long before Trump and be there long after.

Trumps point is why the hell are we getting into their fight. You will say ISIS. Well both those groups hate ISIS.

If this is a true atrocity then the whole world should be in there.

If you want to go over there and help the Kurds, go for it.

Yeah, Turkey really thinks it can defeat a direct US attack. GTFO

Correct. That’s what I meant. The mere presence of those 50 soldiers stopped the second largest military in NATO from attacking one of our allies. This whole thing is fucked.

It isn’t Pence’s fault. It’s Donald Trump’s fault.
