CNN is critical of Biden all the time. Not talking about Fox News insane made up bullshit critical, but they have plenty of criticism. Same was true of Obama for 8 years. 
 

If the so-called “liberal media” was anywhere near as ridiculously biased towards Democrats as Fox News is to Republicans then we wouldn’t have had a single GOP president over the last 40 years. Criticism of Carter in the media got Reagan elected. The media mocking and criticisms of Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry all led to defeats to a Bush (even ignoring the lack of Fox-style cheerleading). And Hillary would have easily been elected if not for the media’s near total focus on Trump, with the exception of covering Hillary’s emails nonstop.
