Keep in mind the Rams traded up from #15 with us when they drafted Goff. They gave up two 1st round picks, two 2nd round picks and two 3rd round picks. I’ve stated my opinion numerous times on this board, so go ahead and remove that self-righteous stick out of your ass. And yes, we CAN all have opinions; I just think yours are way off base 90 percent of the time. Also, Oman thinks Mariota is basically garbage, so with that in mind, pretty much anyone should be able to step in and do better (gathered from his analysis). bizzyeddie Posted March 7, 2019 Report Share Posted March 7, 2019 the only reason there are not other options to Mariota would be because his injury is keeping us from cutting him. That's it. Foles is available, Flacco was available. There is never a scenario in the NFL where there is a bunch of QBs to choose from. If you are gonna make a change you gotta do what the Broncos did. They cast off a QB they still owe a good bit of money too to go and get another aging QB that may or may not work out. You have to make a bold move and probably take a big chance while overpaying to get a new QB that may work for you. Your other option is to draft a guy...that's a pretty big gamble too.
