This is the height of hypocrisy. And if you can't see that, you're blind, politically. So his hand was forced. He 'fessed up immediately. It took a year and a half, a court order, and congressional testimony by Simpson for the truth to come out about the DNC's and hillary's involvement in the fabrication and funding of the dossier. Podesta, the DNC and hillary haven't admitted to or apologized for anything even though they've been busted dead-to-rights. But you ignore that, and holler about Jr's emails and the deliberations that took place in private. Deliberations that had zero bearing on the ultimate outcome. It sounds kinda crazy I admit but the fact that the Russians came to Trump clearly shows that they 1. Had a preference about who won and 2. Saw Trump as a vehicle to do their dirt. Always be wary of people who are offering you something for nothing. What Hillary did wasn't technically illegal but I look down on it just as much because by going the way she did, she opened herself and by extension us to the same manipulations Trump's camp did. I know the intelligence community says the dossier is at least somewhat credible and that may be but the Russians and whoever else could filled it with a bunch of BS purely to sow discord. If the offer was of interest to national security types then I'd expect them to look into why it was offered and offered for free.
