If DH is mad over playing time, he needs to learn to wait his turn. You get paid either way.

Henry went to Bama when he knew he would be a backup (3rd string his FR year behind a Sophomore, 2nd string his SO season) while he would have started most other places. And never in those two years did he ever complain publicly. Now he's behind one of the best RBs in the NFL. I just have a hard time thinking that he's mad about playing time. In fact, he was used more as a rookie for the Titans than he was as a FR at Bama.

His role will continue to increase each year until he takes over.  If he is smart he will welcome the fact he will have less wear and tear and might last an extra year or so when he is really making the big bucks.

Not to mention running behind one of the best OL in the game.

If they are planning on trading him for Sherman, it had better be straight up or pick swaps. No way I give them a second round player (who probably should have went in the first) and a first round pick this year for Sherman.

All in all Im not worried. If someone skips  non voluntary workouts then thats when we can talk "conduct detrimental to the team" etc.

If he's mad about playing time then he is an idiot and has a fool for an agent. Murray is taking some of the physical abuse that Henry would be receiving thus extending his playing career. If Henry has a huge third year then he is set up for a big payday.

I'm curious - why do people think he's mad about playing time? It seems like others are complaining about his lack of playing time more than he is.

Didn't something come up during the season where he wasn't happy with his playing time?

I'm trying to find something. Here's all I've found.

“It is a big drop off from 400 to the carries right now,’’ Henry said with a smile. “But you just have to stay patient and stay locked in and keep working. And when you get an opportunity you try and make a play.”

Henry pointed out he didn’t play much during his freshman season at Alabama, when he carried the ball just 35 times for 382 yards.

“I have experienced it,’’ Henry said. “You can’t worry about it.  You just have to stay patient, and when your number is called you have to make a play.”

Like it or not, there ain't a damned thing Mularkey or JRob and anyone else in the org can say or do.

These programs are strictly voluntary and the NFLPA will push hard for fines and other forms of sanctioning by the league if anyone (officially within the org) that's not a player pressures Henry about it.
