This team was just too good for anyone to beat them in a series. I was hoping KD was going to be injured this entire postseason so see how much depth they actually lost from last year. With their big 4, no way anyone in the past 15 years could beat this team consistently.

Would Channing Frye, who barely played be enough if Love got hurt? How many of those guys had to leave to make room for KD? That was the point all along. Calm down, none of this has to do with the Cavs or Lebron.
wiscotitansfan
WTF does that have to do with anything. Jesus Christ. This past offseason I thought the Warriors took a gamble getting exponentially better on their starters by getting rid of a lot of very good depth. Nothing more. Stop trying to bring others into a conversation with me.
wiscotitansfan
They may not have lost anywhere near enough to make it a "gamble" but still, NOTHING I said had to do with Lebron and your distaste for him. Stop littering this board up with your posts.

I don't care about the Cavs. Take them out of the conversation. Everyone knows that was an awful trade anyway. You may not think Bogut is a loss but they got rid of him specifically for Durant. That's fine but it's someone who played a role in their success the previous 2 years.
wiscotitansfan
You would know better than I do since I really care about the Bucks in terms of deep knowledge then just very surface-level shit after that. I was just always under the assumption that the guys they had to replace the talent they lost were lesser since you would assume that since they had to get rid of guys for cap reasons that they would replace them with much cheaper alternatives. oldschool
Lebron averaged a triple double against a great defensive team and did it while guarding Durant. If you are too stupid to understand how insane that is then no one can help you.

But you're probably one of the dumbfucks who tried to downplay Westbrooks regular season performance. If you are, then don't try and explain to me what is and is not insane. What's insane is the GOAT is 3-5 in the finals. Averaging a triple double over the entire course of a regular season is far more "insane" than 5 games against a team that doesn't have anyone who can guard you. I'm impressed. You managed to write all of that without mentioning Kobe.

Lebron is the best player in the world so how often does he not put up a legit stat line? If you put up great stats and lose does that make you clutch? I think the argument against him being clutch has been what he does at the end of the game. No doubt his play throughout the game is great but like I said he is the best player in the world. Now if he wants to be the best player of all time he's gotta show up in those last couple of minutes too.

All of his stats were compiled in the first half and at the end of the fourth when it was a blowout. When they were in the game in the third and through the first half of the fourth he didn't take a shot. As always, his stats are hollow.

They were ranked #2 right behind the Spurs in Defensive Rating (points allowed per 100 possessions) #1 in steals and blocks (neither of these were even close to the next best team in the league) #3 in defensive rebounds Those are all the regular season over 82 games
