I think both of you should quit your day jobs and go find positions in the NFL. You both will have to take no less than two years of fundamental English courses, but it will be well worth it as one day you will ascend to be something more than an armchair GM who can't type complete sentences. Good luck and Godspeed.

More twerp crap being spewed...Grow up...:225_chicken:

And by the way the price paid for Conklin could be debated except considering the guy is actually an All-pro as a rookie it does bring some justification to the whole deal.  and we still have the #5 pick in the draft left over from the original deal.  See this is how dumb founded your argument is.  JRob makes a deal where we end up with 6 picks in the top 76 (15, 33, 43, 45, 64 and 76).   He ends up with an all-pro RT, Austin Johnson and Derrick Henry in the 2nd with picks he got in the trade.  He now has the #5 pick this year to go along with our own 1st.

So in reality you have to be a complete retarded monkey to look at the whole picture and not say the guy did a fantastic job.  He could net multiple pro bowl caliber players out of that one deal (Conklin, the #5 pick and Henry who looks like a fing beast).  The jury is still out and again, you have to be a retarded monkey to already have made your mind up on Dodd and Johnson.

The objective is to have studs on this team.  And anyone, anyone so damn stupid you would argue with a guy moving up to get an all-pro tackle is clueless.  Breathtaking how fing dumb that argument is.

What's wrong getting under your skin...starting to call people names again...

Dude paid a lot for a RT... If he wasn't so cheap he could have gotten an All-Pro Guard that could play all the o-line positions and a corner that could have led us into and beyond in the playoffs...Dang, good chance we would be in New England this week...But whatever, I figure if JRob could see Conklin would be a rookie All-Pro Tackle...I could see Kelechi Osemele and Casey Hayward could have taken this team a long way...After all, JRob knew he was drafting an All-Pro Right Tackle...

Now regurgitate the same old argument over and over and call people names along the way!!!  All Hail Russ Grimm!!!:225_chicken:

Jesus Christ. What you two are trying to articulate is absolutely not correct English. I'm not a homer, so go ahead and get that out of your head now.

thor, when J Rob was first hired and making moves, you were bashing him. Don't pretend like you're giving him some sort of praise. You're not. He has made very few mistakes in turning the franchise around. Multiyear rebuilds don't happen over the course of one year. I'm damn happy your dumb ass isn't our GM. You'd be worse than Webster.

All you have left are insults to throw at everyone. I pity you.

Hell, yours and Tez's posts might be giving me brain cancer.

So full of crap---everyone has taken what I've said and turned it into a "Thor hates JRob stance" ---but, that is the furthest thing from the truth---I think he's done fantastic in trading and the draft (Conklin trade up was questionable-but he was targeted-reasonable explanation)... Free agency on the other hand I am still disappointed in (that's just my opinion--if asked I'll respond---I think he did great "dumpster diving"---but, I believe he was in a position to do more---that again is my opinion---no one has to agree) and if you want to scream and throw names and curses etc.---expect what you give in return and that has come from the "dingleberry crew" all along...(You say I throw these insults all around---you're damn right I got sick of getting them after I said JRob could have done better---if you don't like it tough shit---you started it so your getting my rants now in return)

All Hail Russ Grimm!!! :225_chicken::225_chicken::225_chicken:

@Justafan, that fracture was discovered at the last of may, 28th or so, the statement from the doc came out the first week of July or so.

Like I said, A prepared team statement.

I guess Dobbs discovered his fracture with his xray machine at home.

Have some COMMON SENSE!

So you think they fired the doctor 6 weeks later because he missed the fracture back during the draft where Dodd was running at full speed and competing?  Then it's somehow JROB's fault because Dodd had to go on IR in week 13 because of an injury the Doc should have caught? And with zero evidence whatsoever, every team in the league minus JROB picked up on the injury and passed on him but JROB got duped.  That's the COMMON SENSE you are referring to?

I have to ask all of you JRob worshippers where was the defense he brought in last year?

I know he brought in some successful offensive players:

1) trade for Demarco Murray (best move of year)

2) Ben Jones nice middle of the road center that fit in nicely

3) Rishard Matthews FA receiver who excelled after getting used to Mariota, had best year, no other real help at WR led to more opportunities...(Delaine the only other target)

4) Jack Conklin RT which team (depending on your viewpoint) conceivably overpaid for that ended up being cream of crop--fantastic statement pick for JRob...

5) Derrick Henry great pick- more or less the pick that would be our 2nd round pick this year

I count 1 trade, 2 FA's, and 2 Draft picks...Is that all?

No because he had a hairline fracture in his foot but went undetected by our team doctor. He would have had a Med label and not been drafted to the later rounds.

... the team doctor who retired in July two months after Dodd had foot surgery to start OTAs.

Think JRob canned the dude?
