Beat the Chiefs, then you can worry about what you have to do next week. Sorry, I'm going to worry about them. It's been almost 10 years since we've been in mid-December with this kind of chance to make the playoffs. This kind of worrying is exciting and interesting to me. Lose only to the Chiefs, and Texans lose to Bengals or Jags. To get the WC... if we only lose 1 but the Texans win the division: 1. Broncos go 1-2 (against Patriots, Chiefs, and Raiders) or worse. AND 2. Dolphins go 1-2 (against Jets, Bills, and Patriots), AND 3. Ravens go 1-3 (against Patriots, Eagles, Steelers, and Bengals) OR Steelers go 0-3 (against Bengals, Ravens, and Browns). Just ran this in the ESPN playoff simulator and it doesn't work. KC would win their division, Raiders would be the 5th seed, and Broncos would be the 6th seed at 10-6. If you have the Broncos lose in week 17 to the Raiders, that would drop them to 9-7. We would take the final wild card spot, the Raiders would win the division, and the Chiefs would be the other wild card team. http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

My scenario said they needed to go 1-2. That would put them at 9-7 regardless . If we were both 9-7, we'd hold head-to-head. My scenario also put the Dolphins at 9-7, and again, we'd hold H2H. I think I accidentally gave them an extra win in there.

Use the yahoo one. The tie-breakers aren't accurate on ESPN but are on yahoo. For example, if you have the Titans and Chiefs finishing at 10-6 and winning their divisions they give the tie-breaker to the Chiefs despite the fact that the Titans beat them head to head. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscenario

Seriously, thanks for the tip. Didn't realize it was completely broken this year.

Yahoo's the only one I've found that appears to be accurate.
scine09
For that matter I just found an error with Yahoo as well. So I don't think any of these are 100% reliable.
