Did everyone miss the boat on Henry because he was big and from Alabama?

They had him doing a lot of dump routes and what appeared to be wheel routes (hard to tell with TV cameras sometimes). So I think the coaches agree with you. I love the idea of Henry on a well set up screen! Same with Murray, actually. Andrews was too slow for these plays.

And Henry on a draw play on third and long? Watch out!

I almost think he could be more effective as a West Coast, all around back then as a power runner. He looks natural & smooth catching the ball & I'd try to get this kid the ball in space as often as possible.

Yea I don't buy he only fits in certain offenses, I think he fits anywhere

Henry out of the backfield and his blocking is what makes him really a bargain.  If he turns out to be a guy tocatch 40-50 balls and can pass protect MM he is going to be dynamite in this offense.  I love when he and 29 are both in.  I am sure we are going to see 29 45 and 22 back there and they will flare out 29 or 22 in the pass game to get mismatches.  Should be fun to see a LB matching up.

I say we call this the three-legged flying pony formation!

I think the coach has more options because all three of these guys can block.  Putting 82 out wide in this situation could actually pull the OLB or DE on 82.  They are going to formation the shit of teams this yr because they have so many options.  I still want to see 4 WR's and 29 or 22 as the single guy........put them in motion and let MM pick them apart or run.  It will be deadly.

MM legs this yr are going to hurt teams.  We have to get them to go man to man.  Most people will play zone to protect against the QB runs on the back side but if you play zone against this OL and RB you are going to get punished.

Draft a RB, run the wheels off him if he's worth it or cut him (Bishop S.) if he's not during his first contract.  In 5 years repeat!  Watch what our Union City boy does with the RB spot.
