Superhorn
That's exactly what Id do, keep giving it to him until he shows he can't do it. Tell ya, Id love to see Spain fix his hand use because I think he has major potential as a road grader. I really think this OL has the potential to be a big time run blocking unit the next few years. I didn't think Poutasi could run block like he has. Yup. If I'm the Titans, I'd run right Mathis early and often. Make him prove he's healthy. Poutasi is a work in progress in the passing game, but he can be really violent in the run game.
Jonboy
"Barely hanging on in the top 10" but one of their "worst QBs" makes no sense whatsoever. Sorry, barely hanging in their top 10 rookies. He's 26th out of QB's. So how does that jive with this tweet from Schefter? Is this another ranking entirely that Schefter is referencing? I saw where someone was saying PFF actually updates their reviews once they've watched the All-22, but I can't find these update scores anywhere. Maybe it's only if you subscribe. Aramis
I really liked the McCluster/Fowler combo last weekend. Looking forward to seeing more of it Sunday. Don't like what I've seen from Sankey thus far.

PFF said they had Mariota 26th. I don't know what they do anymore. Actually I think they go back 32 games so maybe Mariota is 6th this year but doesn't have enough games to be ranked high. Who knows. OILERMAN
.............Also what's the verdict on Searcy? Is he supposed to be more of a in-the-box safety ala Polamalu in Lebeau's defense here? Is he looking like another FA bust on Webster's resume? I haven't watched him a lot through two games but I believe he's a good SS but those guys are pretty easy to find. Griffin has been awful through two games, they tried to get Devin McCoutry so I can't fault them for not trying to upgrade

The team basically said they kept him because he's been there a long time & he's a good guy. We pretty much do the exact opposite of what Bill Belichick would do. What's maddening is he has the physical skills to be a single high safety star but he flat out makes way too many glaring mistakes week in and week out. I was on board with franchising/extending him and thought he should be kept but the last two years he's been flat out terrible. I wanted them to draft Clinton-Dix when he came out and wanted McCoutry this off season. They have to upgrade this position.

He totally bit on PA on the 1st bomb last week & that happens way too often. If anything he needs to err towards the side of caution, Id rather give up a 7 yard run then 70 yard bomb. He's also become a prolific misser of tackles. I was thinking today about what we need to address next year & FS leapt off the chart. I also think, if Brown doesn't develop, that a big time ILB would do wonders. After that either a RT or guard if Poutasi gets pass pro down.
