IowaOiler
Since the QB discussions are getting rather old, I thought I would put together a 25 for 25 for the Titans. I excluded this year (2014) since it isn't over, and started at 1989. Basically, you have to pick one player from each year, filling each roster spot. I went with a 4-3 defense since that is what we played for the majority of those years, and since I used Mason in 2000 as both a WR and KR/PR, I added 2009 CJ as an extra RB. Here is what I came up with: QB - Moon (1990) RB - George (1996) RB - Johnson (2009) WR - Jeffires (1991) WR - Mason (2000) WR - Wright (2013) TE - Wycheck (1998) LT - Roos (2011) LG - Munchak (1989) C - Matthews (1994) RG - Olsen (2002) RT - Miller (2001) LDE - Kearse (1999) LDT - Childress (1992) RDT - Haynesworth (2008) RDE - Vanden Bosch (2005) LLB - Ayers (2012) MLB - Tulloch (2010) RLB - Bulluck (2003) CB - Lewis (1995) CB - Jones (2006) SS - Bishop (1997) FS - Robertson (1993) P - Hentrich (2004) K - Bironas (2007) PR/KR - Mason (2000) Obviously, there are some players that I wanted to get on here, but couldn't. Guys like Sean Jones, Jurrell Casey, Ernest Givens, Al Smith, Cris Dishman, Samari Rolle, and Brad Hopkins, were all guys I tried to fit, but just couldn't without leaving off someone I thought was better for a specific year or position. There were a couple guys, like Matthews, Bironas, and Roos, that I thought could be used during a variety of seasons and/or positions. Overall, a pretty good roster. I don't know who would make the list for this year...possibly Griffin over Robertson at FS; or Kern over Hentrich at P?
Titanstattoo25
Samari Rolle and Randall Godfrey both need to be on the list. Otherwise solid.
OILERMAN
Sean Jones(93) and William Fuller(91) are the best DEs Obviously CJ in 09 Drew Bennett(04) over Jeffires Delaine Walker over Wycheck this year or last season Lamar Lathon(91) at LLB over Ayers Randal Godfrey(00) over Tulloch Samari Rolle(00) over Lewis Jon Runyon at RT
dannynj
Givens or Slaughter over Wright Al Smith or Godfrey over Tulloch and it isn't even close
ctm
Iowa's premise is one player per year and fill a complete roster. If you add a better guy at a spot, then you also have to see what year he came out and delete the player he picked for that year because you can't use that year twice. It's a balancing act with a lot of moving parts.
OILERMAN
Samari Rolle in 00 had one of the greatest seasons for a CB in NFL history
OILERMAN
The guy I want to put on there is Michael Barrow in 96 but the facts are Godfrey's 00 season is better in almost every way except Barrow had 6 sacks to Godfrey's 3 sacks. Barrow lined up at DE in the nickel and overall was a better player but he didn't have a better year
Denali
Good job Iowa. Making this list is a lot tougher than it seems. I kept trying to think of ways to get other players I thought more deserving at a particular position, but then that displaces another position and a different year and it cascades. I tried to figure out how to get McNair 2002 (yes, not 2003), Slaughter 1993, and Dishman 1991, but couldn't. And the 1990 - 1993 years are stacked. Makes me sick to have to see Wright make that list, but someone from last season had to.
OILERMAN
Making this list is a lot tougher than it seems. Just add another player at the same position like Iowa did with Eddie
Denali
Just add another player at the same position like Iowa did with Eddie DOH! I didn't notice he has 12 players on offense And he doubled up on the year 2000. Gotta get rid of 2nd RB and gotta have only one player from 2000. Perhaps replace PR/KR Mason 2000 with Gray 1996 and cross George 1996 off the list. Not ideal but it gets 'er done.

Face
Samari Rolle in 00 had one of the greatest seasons for a CB in NFL history He was never the same after he re-injured his neck but he was off the charts good in 2000. He absolutely owned Jimmy Smith & was a big reason we always beat Jax, he shut him down with no help.

Actually the Titans always put Rolle on McCardell and they doubled Smith He absolutely made McCardell disappear. There was a stretch of games where in those match-ups Rolle had more INTs than McCardell had receptions.
CMJ
I figured 25 for 25 was the number of conflicts Iowa has successfully won over Oman
IowaOiler
As I explained in the initial post, I added 2009 CJ because I have 2000 Mason as both a WR and KR/PR, which means both those positions are filled by 1 player...meaning that I have 25 players with 2009 CJ, not 26. @OILERMAN...you obviously don't understand the concept. Not a real shocker. I really wanted Rolle on there, and the LB corp is weak, but the OL, DL, and skill positions are stacked.
