As much as I'm certain you'd like to take credit for circumstances beyond your control...no. Spain's comeuppance has been a long time coming. Teams have sussed them and will play them more tactically than they ever did before. It's also worth noting that Spain have no exceptional athletes in terms of power and/or pace and so they were always going to eventually be found out. Why would you say that USA should beat Ghana so easily on Monday? The USA doesn't have a single player of note, while Ghana at least has Essien, even if he might be at the low ebb of his powers, not to mention Gyan and Muntari. The USA has nobody that is even in the same area code of them when it comes to talent. And Portugal--much as it pains me to write this--are a bunch of cheating, simulating fucks. Throw in the "scandal" about Qatar 20whatever and it looks like FIFA may have finally run out of hiding places for their stinky fish.
