Face
Over the last week and a half I've also listened to Mike Florio discuss CJ. He's totally delusional. He orginally said CJ would still get his 8 mill this year with bonuses and his base salary(with his new team). Yesterday he's now saying he'll likely only get 3.5-4 mill this season. WTF is he watching? He also said a team like the Bronco's should be all over him as if the Bronco's would be getting 1999 Marshall Faulk. Yeah Florio's a huge CJ nut jockey. You would think it would be best for him to go to a big time passing team that won't face alot of 8 man fronts, but it's really not. About the only thing CJ really does well at this point is outrace the secondary to the endzone, and almost all of his big runs are against 8-9 man fronts where he slips through the LOS & breaks free. A good passing game will not help him like it would other backs.
OILERMAN
How do other teams view CJ?
AFCman
The titans had every right to hold CJ.......they didn't screw him over. Just like when CJ held out for his money, the Titans held out for a deal until they couldn't anymore. It goes both ways folks.
Guest
Teams are asking CJ to run the 40. LOL Wow Smart.
Face
Unfortunately teams can't "try out" FA's, except for street FA's. Which is stupid. If I was running a team I would require every FA I look at to run a 40, if allowed. What better way to judge what a guy has left? A process that takes less than 5 seconds can save 5 years worth of grief. Of course you'd expect a guy's 40 to drop after 6-7 years but if CJ runs a 4.6 I'm not gonna sign him. 4.45? Maybe I'll take a stab at it. It's not the time I'm worried about, it's how much has the time increased since being drafted that I'm worried about. ZEPPELIN
Smart. Surely that cheetah ran a 4.2. No need to test a guy who has been in the league 6 years and raced a cheetah, right? The truth is, he is done. The only thing he has really ever had is speed and now that he has lost some of it, he is afraid to let the truth destroy the myth. If he let a team test him and he ran a 4.5, he would be out of the league.
OILERMAN
I'm sure CJ could run a blazing 40 right now, or with a short time to train. He'd still suck
Jamalisms
He was running low 4.3s last offseason. Speed isn't really an issue.
ZEPPELIN
He was running low 4.3s last offseason. Speed isn't really an issue. He has looked a lot slower on the field when he can't beat linebackers. Maybe the pads are too heavy for his wuss ass.

If that was the case don't you think every team in the league would be signing track guys so they can get a 2000 yard back? That's ridiculous. There's a litany of blazing fast guys who can't even make an NFL roster, let alone run for 8000 yards & make an all pro team.

OILERMAN
In all seriousness, I have not seen one report about any team having any interest in CJ. Anyone?

CMJ
"Some say opponents just have an easy time game-planning to stop Johnson, with the Titans failing to present a legitimate passing threat. There could be something to this, as Jake Locker just can't stay healthy, and the Titans haven't fielded a top-20 passing attack since 2011 ( MATTY ICE BABY)"
freakingeek
One thing is for sure, CJ has taken over the #3 spot for Titans Report's all time most galvanizing ex-Titan, right behind Jeff Fisher and Vince Young. There are more threads about him now than there were when he was with the team. He may even overtake VY for the #2 spot. 12 out of 27 threads on the front page are about CJ.
