Jake Locker out for the season (CONFIRMED)

The playoff losses to Denver, Buffalo and KC in consecutive years is the stuff you don't even want to ever see.

Imagine the 2000 Ravens playoff loss 3 years in a row.

I think Baltimore of 2000 is the worst because the Oilers were not going to win it all those years. They were not as good as Washington or Dallas.

Are there actually people on this board who think the Bears are going to let Cutler walk?

Even on the one in a million chance that happens, we are going to sign an injury prone QB to a huge deal to replace our own QB..because he can't stay healthy?

Locker will be back next season, the kid has too much potential to give up on him. Best case scenario is the team spends a draft pick in rounds 4-7 to bring in someone to groom. Of course that brings up another question...if this staff returns, who will develop this new young QB?

2014 offense coordinator Bruce Matthews.

The KC playoff loss was the worst for me...4th straight year of a playoff melt down. This team was playing some dominating football...the offense was clicking and Buddy Ryan had that defense playing flat out nasty. That team had a ton of talent..they were so fun to watch after the 1-4 start.

They lost to the Redskins in Washington in 91 when the Skins won the SB because Howfield missed a game winner, they owned Dallas back then, Dallas could not match up with the run and shoot. They def could have won it all those years

I think were as good or better than Buffalo. But, as you remember, they weren't coached well and weren't as physical in those days (back in the days when you were actually allowed to be physical) as the Redskins or Cowboys.

They definitely had more talent than the Redskins there's no doubt about that.

The fact is is that Oilers team was more talented (as were the Cowboys, Bills and 49ers) than any team that's played in the league since free agency began. You can include the 2007 Patriots in there.

How the fuck have you older Oiler fans managed to stay fans for as long as you have? I mean, the anger/frustration has to give way to apathy disinterest at some point, right? Sure, there was the Super Bowl season but is that really enough balm to soothe the tattered soul?

In for a dime, in for a dollar. Why do you think I am the way I am when it comes to Pro Sports? I'm a Houston sports fan minus the Texans. The only non Houston team aside from the Titans I follow are the Caps and their playoff history is almost as tortured as the Titans history is.

"John Glennon ‏@glennonsports1m
Munchak says Locker could have slid or pitched ball to Johnson on option play."

Sure, let's blame the QB running the play.  Pathetic.  I have a better idea.  How about not calling a stupid play that most high school teams don't bother to run anymore.  The risk of injuring your QB or a turnover with a bad pitch isn't worth the 5 yards you might gain.

Exactly what I thought when I read this quote. It's Locker's fault not mine!

This is like Jamal blaming Guru for his Salem TW89 witch hunt!
