  1. Nabers + 5 1st round picks lol No way they pay that but there's zero pressure to trade the pick so the Titans can be totally outrageous in their asking price. I laugh at the notion the Titans will do the Giants a favor and trade the pick for a few mid rounders. Titans don't owe shit to the Giants. All the pressure is on them.
  2. If it was that easy to predict half the league wouldn't need a QB. Sure hope he's right though if we take him. We badly badly need this. Franchise QB changes everything.
  3. If Borgonzi's evaluation of Ward is anywhere close to what Simms was saying you run to the podium.
  4. Borgonzi's done a great job keeping it very close to the vest. I'd say the odds still favor Ward, but it's hardly as obvious as past teams going QB at 1 (Caleb, Lawrence, Kyler, Burrow, etc)
  5. Titans need EDGE. WR is a big need too. I don't see how you can draft Ward and be ok with Ridley, Jefferson, and ???. Get a young weapon for a young QB to grow with.
  6. We don't have the luxury of spending 2 picks on QB. Right now it's looking like Ward at 1 Try to trade down from 35 (take best EDGE available, darkhorse could be WR/TE to give Ward a young weapon to grow with)
  7. If Kenny Pickett and Malik Willis can get traded, Levis can get traded.
  8. I would worry that Hunter (when his contract comes up) is going to argue he should be paid as a WR AND a CB (since he may play both)
  9. There's no way you can willingly start Allen or Levis week 1. The only thing left that might plant a seed of doubt is if they get Cousins. Otherwise, it's going to be Ward, especially if they make no other QB moves.
  10. EDGE is a bigger need. But I also think if you're taking QB at 1, you have to put more pieces around him. It kills me when teams take QB at 1 and then do the bare minimum around him. We've upgraded the OL. Time to add more weapons.
  11. Agreed. If you go back to Borgonzi's first week of getting hired, he said his first priority was to build the OL and trenches. I like that there's a clear plan, direction, and follow through. Not all these guys are going to hit. I don't really expect any of them to be world beaters. This isn't a good FA class. But these are good low cost moves that build depth and we're not tied to these guys too long if it doesn't work.
  12. There's zero pressure on the Titans to trade the pick. Its not the end of the world to stick and pick at 1. They can always try to trade 35. All the pressure is on the Giants. Some of these draft nerds would be awful negotiators. Always ask super high.
  13. I like what we've done. I don't expect any of those guys to set the world on fire but these are good low cost moves that add depth to a roster that really needs it.
  14. I have a few reservations about Ward but it's likely he's the pick. Just have to hope for the best.
  15. Agreed. He specifically mentioned DL being a strength of the draft class. I always believe in trying to draft where it's the strongest. This is a strong DL, Edge, RB, TE class.
  16. Chiefs ties. He was on the Chiefs this year so Borgonzi would have intel on him in the locker room.
  17. Solid signing. These are the types of deals we should be making. Short term smaller deals that build depth. This is not a good FA class. I wouldn't get wrapped in a bunch of huge deals.
  18. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/aaron-rodgers-steelers-could-have-a-deal-in-place-by-tuesday Rodgers to PIT could happen by tomorrow
  19. He's a name, but I just never saw it with Harris. He always looked just ok to me.
