What I said is that QB purgatory is what the fan base deserves for not appreciating what they had in Tannehill - essentially crediting Henry for most of his success and completely blaming him for the playoff losses when anyone who actually knows football knows otherwise. Also, I'd caution whether I'm wrong here long term - that has to play out and not have it declared after two games - one of which was pretty shaky in terms of some key mistakes. But the bar post Tannehill needs to be high level QB play and winning football. The Titans won 60% of their games when Tannehill started (40-26) and he had a passer rating of 98 and a 3 to 1 TD/INT ratio.

I was 100% correct in saying the team's ability to stay in Nashville was dependent on public funding and those issues are at the root of every team relocation in the modern era. People were saying the NFL and team all coveted Nashville when in fact it's all about getting stadium funding. Just like how the team moved to Nashville. Did I poke fun at the idea of the team leaving for another city if the city/state had dropped the ball? Absolutely because some of the TN based fans were dead wrong on thinking Nashville is any more special than another city willing to pay for stadiums and with how/why the team left Houston. IDGAF where they play.

Jonnu though was a true in-line TE/dual threat and they to date have never replaced that. Also was a good RZ guy. Davis was replaceable but again they let some contributor guys go but the major WR sin was the AJB debacle that was tied to the dumb ass Julio trade and various massive overpays by QC in FA and whiffs in the draft

Smith should have been kept. AJB should have been kept. The Julio trade was asinine. Blowing 3 straight drafts didn't help....QC and Vrabel completely fucked things up.

One can argue other players "could have" elevated the team in that time span but Tannehill did it. 2019 the guy led the league in passer rating, YPA, and had a completion % over 70%. 3 guys in HISTORY have done that. Scoring went from 16 PPG to 30 with the same play caller, offense, personnel other than him.

Wrong. He had 2 monster games - one versus a checked out Jags team and the next week vs a 5 win Giants team..... In 2019, he was averaging 69 YPG and 3.7 YPC in the first 6 games when the offense was scoring 16 PPG.....In the remaining regular season games he averaged 125 YPG and 5.9 YPC. Idiot
