  1. You mean you ARE a Democrat because Republicans have lost their minds? I'm assuming you mean MAGA Republicans. Which policies has MAGA lost their minds on?
  2. Thanks for your substantive contribution to our civil discourse.
  3. Yeah, the Twin Towers being demolished by our own planes with our own people within the buildings and planes as passengers really tugged at the heartstrings of our general populace. The fact that the "leaders" of our nation used this catastrophe to enrich themselves and their buddies while sending our young men to an unjustified war really caused many to form a severe distrust of our governing authorities. And deservedly so... But today, the shoe is on the other foot. As one wise fool once said, "Fool me once shame one you. FOol me twice... Fooled me... can't be fooled again."
  4. According to the NY Times, the average contribution for Trump in 2020 was $71 as opposed to Biden's $76. Trump made no secrets that he wanted to drill in the United States instead of enriching our competition. Do you know any president that didn't get funds from whoever wanted to contribute? Do you think Biden refused money from corporations backing him? LOL What did Trump personally gain by becoming president? Follow the money, friends... https://finance.alot.com/personal-finance/presidential-net-worth-before-and-after-election--20669
  5. The NY DA was going after Trump for misrepresenting the value of his properties when getting loans for properties. #1. Trump paid the loans back to the banks with interest. There was no victim and the crime he's accused of is a reach. #2. Banks do their own due diligence when appraising the value of the collateral properties in question. Banks aren't stupid. Valuation of property is based on comps which can be extremely subjective. At the end of the day, value = what price someone is willing to sell and pay for an item. Real estate comps are conducted with information on like kind properties within the same area within a 6 month window. But in cities like New York, comps may vary greatly from block to block. There's a reason why appraisals and assessments vary greatly. In LA, for example, there's a limit to the amount assessors can increase assessed value of a property from year to year. But property value goes up at a greater rate than that limit. So when someone buys a property from a long time home owner, get shocked by the sudden spike in property taxes. The assessed value spikes up because it's finally updated with the proper valuation of the home. The courts were working with flawed valuation tactics. Once again, incompetence or malevolence? If the NY politicians and courts were really interested in equal justice under the law, they would change the laws and encourage financial education, get rid of unnecessary building regulations to encourage cheaper housing, and encourage responsible behavior among the less privileged population and urban areas. But having lived in the urban area for a better part of this decade, these politicians don't care. They just want to maintain their power by keeping people dependent on their programs.
  6. I'm pretty sure O-Man was against the war. He and I had some political debates in the past. Football-wise, I agreed with most of his opinions.
  7. Mass Mail in Ballots. I'm in Los Angeles and we've had ballot harvesters for decades. My now deceased grandparents' senior home was frequented by local democrat activist volunteers and I personally had to shoo them away because I didn't like the manner in which they were trying to "help fill out ballots." Tale as old as time... LOL But during covid, many states completely switched to mail in ballots. If we want legitimate elections, citizens should in person with Voter ID verification. Only exceptions should be when voters specifically opt for Absentee ballots due to travel. I'm all for making it a national holiday so that everyone could vote and those who don't care enough to vote can take a day off to do what they want. But with mass mail in ballots, there has been evidence that people who moved states have voted twice (purposely or not), I received two extra ballots with people who have no business having lived in my address. They were not the two previous owners of the property. My sister (who lives in Oregon) and her kid got duplicate ballots. Deceased people were recorded as legitimate votes. There's no way to prove the people who filled out the ballots and cast the vote were the actual people on the ballot. People were recorded turning in hundreds of ballots all at once in the drop boxes. All of these things makes me question the stupid system that our government bodies came up with due to covid. Mail in ballots and electronically counting ballots was a completely idiotic move. Votes can easily be manipulated for the highest bidder. There's a reason why many fraudsters opt to scam people online instead of in person. We need a paper trail, a reliable ledger, a video recording for auditing purposes, an uncompromised representation of both parties at the actual count, a quick way to audit or recount the votes, and a real serious legal repercussion for those who knowingly commit voter fraud. If even one of these things are missing, we are giving room for voter fraud. The 2020 election was the first election where I did not know the results within 24 hours of election day. My friends and I actually held an online election night party on discord and the votes froze at 1am or so pacific time. My liberal friend was pissed that he "lost" and most of us Trumpers were happy but suspicious of the sudden pause in election counts. The updates in new votes started to slow down around 11pm and after midnight, completely froze. So we just decided to go to sleep. When we woke up the next morning, lo and behold. Most of the states that Trump was winning, Biden caught up or were building momentum to overtake. I believe it was Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, I'm just going by memory so I may be a bit off. It took another couple days or weeks but Biden wins the majority of states that they needed and Trump starts to contest it. It was a weird feeling because I was so accustomed to getting the results the night of or at least the day after. It was a suspicion that slowly came to fruition. There's actually no way for me to prove that there was enough voter fraud to overturn the election if I'm being totally honest. But I think many people felt the way I did. Totally changing the way ballots were turned in and the speed with which they were counted were extremely suspicious to me and it still does not sit well with me to this day. Kind of weird how whenever the counts are frozen, one side always benefits. Once again, simply incompetence or malevolence? Anyway, sorry for the long-winded answer but to be fair, your question was not a simple question to answer. But just in case you wanted the simple version, here it is. Trump did not get enough electoral votes to get re-elected.
  8. Do you now how mortgage loans work? There's good debt and bad debt. You know that right? I watched the Trump Netflix hit piece so I think I know what you're talking about. Complete rubbish.
  9. Time will tell my friend But for now, he's been the best president in my lifetime.
  10. Completely agree. I probably debated you in the old board and I will admit I was completely wrong. Wish I could read the old posts lol
  11. Btw, Trump wasn't in office when they withdrew. I'll tell you one thing. I'd be super surprised if Trump pulled out the armed forces before he evacuated the US citizens first I'm not as surprised that Biden's handlers did that though. I sincerely wish both sides did a great job though. I'll happily love to be proven wrong if the dem policies were efficient, effective, and honestly improved most American lives.
  12. Why do you think Trump needed to negotiate with the Taliban? They were the threat and they were the ones with the real power, not the Afghan government. After decades of trying to prop up a real government (or at least a puppet one) in Afghanistan, I think we realized we were wasting resources and not helping the people there. Why continue to make the same mistakes? I think the collapsing of the government was proof that they never had the real power to begin with. Not every country wants to bow down to western puppet rule. Watch this if you're interested. https://youtu.be/zLWJclgxYpw?si=XSOLLU_2vnOJnEw2
  13. You're saying the most obvious conspiracy is that Trump staged the whole thing to make himself look like a bad ass? I don't know about you but if I were a billionaire, I wouldn't stage an event where real bullets fly inches from my face and even graze my ear to get a boost in my ratings. He literally moved his face a split second before the shot grazed his ear. If he didn't move, his cheeks would have been blown up into a thousand cheeto puffs. I highly doubt any of you would in your right mind agree to be an open target while you're giving a speech on stage just for optics. And if he did agree to do that (which seems stupid and insane), that's still a bad ass move. Seriously, what does Trump have to gain by running? He's the first president in decades who lost his net worth after taking office. Dare you to look at Clinton, Bush, and Obama net worth before and after office. It definitely pays to be a part of the machine. And you risk everything to go against it. Wake up, people...
  14. I'm not above being corrected. I think it's a natural part of learning and growing as a human being. I was in college during 9/11 and as a red blooded young American who trusted the media and the intelligence agencies as well as bipartisan support of the war, I leaned more on my emotions than my limited reasoning ability. I would lie about not supporting the war, if I wanted to simply win the arguments at all costs. But I think it's more important to debate honestly and try to figure out together the best path forward for our country. I'll happily admit I was a dumb ass as long as I see that I'm trying to grow and stop making the same mistakes that made me that ass to begin with.
  15. I'm definitely conservative. But realized the RNC is just as corrupt as the DNC. But they are wussies compared to their Democrat counterparts. If anything, I'd probably align with the libertarian party more due to their efforts for decentralization and philosophy on smaller government. But as much liberals would say today, "I didn't leave the Democrat party. The Democrat party left me." I'm don't support the RNC because the higher ups are essentially the same as the DNC. They are for corporate bail outs, they are for endless wars, and irresponsible increased spending.
  16. I'm surprised so many of you are Trump haters. I thought Tennessee was a pretty conservative state and Texas as well for that matter. Anyway, here are my 5 cents. I'm not going to list Top 5 Good Qualities about Trump although I probably could. I think policies are much more consequential to the average citizen than squabbling like middle schoolers about who's cooler... So here's my Top 5 Reasons to Vote for Trump. 1. NO MORE ENDLESS WARS: There were no new wars under Trump's presidency. Trump was falsely accused of colluding with Russia but interestingly enough, Russia took Crimea under Obama and Invaded Ukraine under Biden. Orange dictator actually orchestrated the Afghanistan withdrawal which his successor's handlers completely botched a year later. 2. LOWER TAXES: Trump's Tax cuts are set to expire soon so if you think the government could manage your money more responsibly and efficiently than yourself, and you want to give the gov more money, feel free to vote for Willie Brown's mistress. 3. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN: If you want a president that prioritizes the American citizen just as any benevolent leader would/should, vote for Trump. Too many leaders (globalists) have lofty dreams of being a world leader but I would prefer a leader to prioritize local issues just like I'd prefer a husband who prioritizes his wife and children first before helping out random strangers or going out of his way to volunteer to help struggling single moms. Based on many of his policy decisions, Trump always prioritized America First. 4. BORDER CRISIS: Human Trafficking, Fentanyl, and violence is on the rise in America (which affects minorities as well as white people). This should not be a race issue. If we care about the citizens of America, we should monitor and enforce the immigration laws that we have in place. There is no country if we do not have a border. And we do not lock our doors at night because we hate everyone outside. But we lock our doors because we love the people who are inside. My woke friends makes sure their multiple locks are set and even have alarms in their house because LA's law enforcement is a joke. Wanting to enforce immigration laws does not make you racist and does not mean you that you hate minorities. I'm a minority and I want strong borders. 5. INSTITUTIONS HATE TRUMP: I'm pretty sure I butt heads with people during the "Iraqi Freedom" war following 9/11. I humbly admit that I was completely wrong about that whole thing. Afghanistan and Iraq were complete mistakes. The Bush implemented Patriot Act was also a mistake of extreme proportions. I was too much of a Republican homer to know how damaging these acts were to the middle east and to America respectively. But I think we should learn from history and try to not repeat the same mistakes twice. Bush sold out our country to enrich his buddies and the military-industrial complex. Obama did much of the same thing and Biden's handlers are continuing Bush's and Obama's legacy of endless wars. The DNC regularly and shamelessly silences anyone that will not toe the line (e.g. RFK Jr and Bernie in 2020). It's extremely ironic that the party that's been chanting in unison that Orange Hitler is a "threat to democracy" for 3 years and not a single significant liberal pundit bats an eye when their own party replaces Joe with Kamala without casting a single vote. And all of a sudden Willie Brown's side piece who was the most unpopular vice president in recent history is all of a sudden marketed as a messianic figure akin to Black Jesus himself, Barack Obama. All the while, mainstream media has been on attack mode since the inception of Trump's campaign in 2015 until now. First is the was the 24/7 reporting of the news of bombshell evidence that Trump colluded with Russia. Not a single shred of evidence was provided and every single person gave the media and Adam Schiff a pass. Instead, it was proven that the Hillary Clinton and Obama Admin made the whole thing up and they were also given a pass. The media has been dragging Trump's name through the mud ever since. And most of us hate on him for fighting back in such a childish manner. I actually find it refreshing that a politician is comfortable in his own skin to fight back instead of always doing what is more politically expedient. Does he overdo it? Yes. But I still appreciate the transparency. Then when the media (including social media) attacks weren't enough, the legal system went after him for the most bogus reasons. Stormy Daniels hush money case? Seriously? LOL The New York City Real Estate Loan case? I'm in real estate and even a small timer like me knows that nothing that Trump did was outside of the ordinary. (i.e. these legal experts don't know the difference between assessed value and appraised value) And honestly, they don't care. They just want to attach felon to the name of Trump. This set's a precedent for all future American Presidents. Finally, this might delve into conspiracy theory territory but call it what you may. I refuse to believe a 20 year old kid circumvented one of the most globally prestigious security teams to actually get off multiple shots at a former president and currently running presidential candidate without at least someone from the inside who willfully allowed that to happen. Maybe this kid was really James Bond's and Jason Bourn's illegitimate hybrid son but all facts point to either extreme incompetence or malevolence. And that question is all too often comes up whenever it serves the purpose of the DNC. So yeah, they tried to kill his character, then tried to legally disable him, and now they tried to literally physically end him. Very powerful people want to get rid of Trump because he literally has FU money. In his position as a billionaire, Trump has absolutely nothing to gain by continuing to run and everything to lose. Agree with his policies or not, he has a proven track record of doing what he promised or trying his best to execute them. And I deeply distrust the people that are trying to end him (Republican as well as Democrat). I hope this makes sense and if it doesn't, feel free to chime in and call me out on my inconsistencies or lack of reasoning behind my points. Seriously didn't intend to get political here but since this platform is available, I'm all game for serious political discourse. And even if you disagree with me, please don't take my comments as an attack on you personally. I don't know any of you on a personal level and I'd like to stay on policies as much as possible. Thanks for reading/tolerating my disorganized cluttered thoughts.
  17. Man, Tannehill's first year as a Titan was so promising... I even considered buying his rookie card. Then Covid hit and he started to regress every year... I'm glad we have another even younger promising QB in Levis and I think Mason Rudolph is a great second option.
  18. Doh. Didn't think the first one went through. disregard the first post lol
  19. Man, I missed out on a lot of drama. I remember JTB and is CTF Canadian Titans Fan? Prometheus sounds familiar as well Thanks for saving the day O-man! I remember we had our share of disagreements in the past but you were always a consistent fixture on that forum. As far as the 53 man roster, I really feel optimistic about the O Line and WR's this year. Hopefully Levis is ready and won't hit a sophomore slump. Also, I love King Henry but I feel like we let him go at the right time.
  20. Man, I missed out on a lot of drama. I remember JTB and is CTF Canadian Titans Fan? Thanks for saving the day! As far as the 53 man roster, I really feel optimistic about the O Line and WR's this year. Hopefully Levis is ready and won't hit a sophomore slump.
  21. Just saw the Steve McNair Doc on Netflix and was reminded of the glory days of the Oilers/Titans and with the season starting soon, I thought I'd check out what's going on in Titans land. Such a welcome sight to see some familiar screen names on this site! Thanks for the reply REO
  22. Wow I was right. I tried checking Titanscentral and it was gone so I resorted to perusing Gotitans.com and now that seems to be gone as well. It's good seeing you around, REO! I think you, Oilerman, Starkiller, and some others were around at least since the 1999 Superbowl Season Titans. Crazy how time flies lol
