AussieTitanFan08
with Schwenke leaving and joining the Colts it leaves backup C/swing G as one of our biggest current needs. not sure how much Nick Mangold has left in the tank, or whether he would be willing to sign as a backup/swing OL guy, but his experience could be an extremely valuable asset to the team. at this stage of FA hasn't really been any buzz about Mangold, so if he wants to play again his options might be limited. SirLanceALot
Yeah there's talk of some teams would ask him to play guard. I'd say he's got a good 2 years left and that's about it.
Starkiller
Would he want to be a backup? I'm not so sure. Probably over retirement but he will probably hold out for a starting job.
reo
I've always liked Mangold. I'd mentioned this before but I doubt it.
tgo
I think he'd retire before he takes a backup job. I think he'll be starting for a team at center or guard by the time training camp rolls around.
flaming_thumbtack
If he can long snap, he would be another piece in JRob's wet dream of the greatest special teams ever assembled.
