Shea Weber lays the law down on Landeskog

That's some old time hockey right there and what your captain is supposed to do but few do now. Weber is a monster.

Not a fan of fighting with visors on but everyone does it now. If Weber would have taken his lid off before he started throwing it would have been even better.

Then there would have been an additional 2 minutes for taking your helmet off before a fight.  There is (or was?) a way around this rule though I don't  think Landesskog would have obliged.

So an honest to God Canadian really didn't know about the removing your lid is unsportsmanlike rule?

Just so happed that this was the only game I've been to this year.  I was six rows back from where this happened.  Awesome!

The Predators are killing the titans.  It's all sports fans talk about.

Not much talk about the new concessions at LP Field on sports talk radio? Shocking.

There was some talk on the Zone about MacL. getting fired because they announcers knew him and liked him.  But on this issue I think everyone is missing the point.  It wasn't just a coincidence, IMO, that the two guys in charge of ticket sales also got fired.  Invoices went out late for some reason, that's the problem.

  • 2 weeks later...

Those are the only fights I am down with in hockey. When a veteran steps up for someone else on the team after a dirty hit (not sure if this hit counts as dirty though).

Not a fan of all the after the whistle shenanigans that don't end up in fights, and def am not a fan of someone trying to fight someone because they got their bell rung cleanly.
