OILERMAN
I can see a scenario where locker, warmack, CJ, britt, hunter, levitre, Roos, pollard, Morgan, and McCarthy all make the list. Several team planes go down in flames?
Bobo
Odd for such a good player to bounce around so much. And also somewhat odd to me that he gets a 1 year deal and Wilson a 2.
Jamalisms
I'd honestly say the one year deal is because he couldn't get the money he thought he deserved and thinks he will play well enough to prove it and up his value for a long term deal next year. Wilson is coming home to an extent and probably wants to retire here. Just different situations.
OILERMAN
There are run stoppers more than pass defenders, in today's NFL that just doesn't have the value it use to.
Bobo
I'm just afraid teams will try to exploit Pollard in the pass game. Is that a reason why he doesnt stick around with teams? Seems safeties need to be more well rounded nowdays. A few years ago Fisher talked about how our safeties needed to be interchangable, but recently we've heard that they want Griffin mainly at FS. Maybe this defensive scheme is more "traditional" so to speak? Was Wilson strong or free S in Buffalo?
wtenn
I wonder if any teams will have no players? I guess possibly the Rams or the Raiders. Maybe the Jets? Most of the worst teams, like Arizona (Fitzgerald) or Kansas City (Charles) have at least one worthy player.
Oiler FANatic
Was Wilson strong or free S in Buffalo? He was a strong safety in Buffalo, both he and Pollard are strictly SS's
Bobo
He was a strong safety in Buffalo, both he and Pollard are strictly SS's Ok I figured Byrd was the FS. I wonder how they are going to use these guys in the 3 safety sets. I didn't pay close attention to how it was used last year. I remember Lamont Thompson being used as a nickleback...ugh. Oiler FANatic
I wonder how they are going to use these guys in the 3 safety sets. Apparently it will be like this: Jerry Gray and the Tennessee Titans Ruby Defense Bobo
Bobo
Ok I had heard of the Ruby D but never knew what it was about. I know part of the reason our D was so bad last year is because some of the players just played bad, but hopefully bad personnel fits was a big part too. And hopefully we've remedied that. Justafan
Several team planes go down in flames? LOL..... obviously all of them won't. I guess I should have worded that better..... I can see a scenario where any of those players could make that list.
