Do you really think Obama is actually wasting time? Do you really think a good point of criticism for him is that he plays too much golf?

 

And your post is pretty inaccurate. Many of us are outspoken critics of Obama--because, guess what? You can support some policies and not others. What a revelation! I'm the one who posted the thread on this board calling him out for Drone strikes.

 

And he should call the basketball player to show his support. The guy is a hero when it comes to standing up for civil liberties.

 

Part of the reason why your party couldn't do anything about Obama is that you are fighting your own diseased caricature of him, and not the man himself. Republicans would have stood a chance if they hadn't become so ideologically conservative that they vehemently opposed even good policy Obama proposed.

 

This drove independents away because they didn't want to be associated with a group as, to be frank, as stupid as very hardline conservatives seem to be.

FWIW, I read somewhere recently where Obama said that when he plays golf, it is usually just a 9 hole outing.  So that would take an hour and a half to two hours, max.  And no one in the history of golf has ever taken six hours to complete a round, especially not when they have the course to themselves.
